 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVER SHEET CV.1 INDICATES A GROSS SQ. FT. OF
 2920. THE OCCUPANCY TYPE AS A3 WITH A GALLERY, JUICE
 BAR AND LOUNGE AREA AND A 3RD AREA LABELED A WELLNESS
 STUDIO. THE COVERSHEET ALSO INDICATES 1916 SQ. FT. IS
 DEDICATED TO DINING WHICH TRANSLATES INTO 127.33 OR 128
 OCCUPANTS. PLEASE NOTE DINING AND THE CONSUMPTION OF
 DRINK IS CLASSIFIED AS AN A2 OCCUPANCY. PLEASE UPDATE
 PLANS. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) THE OTHER ISSUE IS THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY HAS NOT
 BEEN DECLARED. THE LAST USE FOR THIS TENANT SPACE WAS
 CONSIGNMENT SHOP WHICH IS CONSIDERED A MERCANTILE
 OCCUPANCY. IT WOULD APPEAR THIS IS TO BE A MIXED USE
 BETWEEN A A-2 ESTABLISHMENT AND POSSIBLY A BUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY, THE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY BEING THE WELLNESS
 STUDIO. PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THE FUNCTION OF THIS AREA
 WILL BE SINCE IT STILL LOOKS LIKE PART OF THE
 RESTAURANT. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 3A) WITH THE COVERSHEET LISTING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 128
 FOR AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT SERVES EITHER FOOD OR DRINK
 ,THIS WILL CREATE AN A-2 OCCUPANCY AND A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY. THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE
 SECTION 1001.3.1. PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING
 IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, SECTION
 1012 SHALL APPLY.
  
 1012.1.1.1 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WITHOUT
 SEPARATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IS
 CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AND THAT
 PORTION IS NOT SEPARATED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE
 BUILDING WITH FIRE BARRIERS HAVING A FIRE-RESISTANCE
 RATING AS REQUIRED IN THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 BUILDING FOR THE SEPARATE OCCUPANCY, THE ENTIRE
 BUILDING SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 CHAPTER 9 APPLIED THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING FOR THE MOST
 RESTRICTIVE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION IN THE BUILDING
 AND WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CHAPTER.
  
 1012.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS. FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 1012.2.1
 AND 1012.2.2.
  
 1012.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. WHERE A CHANGE IN
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT REQUIRES AN
 AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE PROVIDED BASED ON
 THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 9 OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, SUCH SYSTEM SHALL BE
 PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
 2014 FBC-B SECTION 903.2.1.2 GROUP A-2. AN AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR GROUP A-2
 OCCUPANCIES WHERE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
 EXISTS:
 (2.) THE FIRE AREA HAS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR MORE.
  
 3B) SHEET A.3 INDICATES A2 RESTAURANT OCCUPANCY WITH A
 BUSINESS OCCUPANCY (WELLNESS STUDIO) WHICH WILL BE
 CONSIDERED A MIXED USE OCCUPANCY. PLEASE PROVIDE HOW
 OCCUPANCY SEPARATION WILL BE MAINTAINED REQUIRED BY THE
 2014 FBC-B TABLE 508.4, 1 HOUR WITH FIRE SPRINKLERS AND
 2 HOURS FOR NON-SPRINKLERED TENANT SPACES.
  
 3C) THE EXTERIOR SIDE WALL OF THE GALLERY PLEASE ALSO
 PROVIDE THE FIRE RATING FOR THIS WALL. SEE FBC-B TABLE

 4) THE COVERSHEET INDICATES 115 CHAIRS AT TABLES, THERE
 IS ALSO A CALCULATION OF DINING FLOOR AREA OF 1916 SQ.
 FT./ 15 = 128 OCCUPANTS. 128 X 0.05 = 6.4 OR 7 REQUIRED
 ACCESSIBLE CHAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 226.1 WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE
 CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE
 SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.
  
 5) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES

 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS. EXAMPLES OF WORK
 SURFACES INCLUDE WRITING SURFACES, STUDY CARRELS,
 STUDENT LABORATORY STATIONS, BABY CHANGING AND OTHER
 TABLES OR FIXTURES FOR PERSONAL GROOMING, COUPON
 COUNTERS, AND WHERE COVERED BY THE ABA SCOPING
 PROVISIONS, EMPLOYEE WORK STATIONS.
  
 6)(A) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE

 6)(B) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 7) SHEET A.3 INDICATES 2 NEW ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS, BUT
 THERE IS NO DETAILS SHOWING FIXTURE DISTANCES FROM
 WALLS, GRAB BARS, AND RESTROOM ACCESSORIES.
  
 8) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY OF THE PROPERTY SHOWING THE
 PROPERTY LINES. SHEET D1 THE DEMO PLAN SHOWS THE
 REMOVAL OF ALL STOREFRONT WINDOWS AND DOORS. THIS SAME
 SHEET SHOWS ALL OF THE STOREFRONT DOORS AS INSWING
 DOORS, THE BACK EGRESS DOOR OUTSWING DOORS. SHEET A.3
 SHOWS ALL OF THE STOREFRONT DOORS AND THE REAR DOOR AS
 OUTSWING DOORS. PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE
 AND BELOW 8 FEET IN HEIGHT.
 ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ABOVE GRADE
 AND BELOW 8 FEET IN HEIGHT SHALL BE PROHIBITED EXCEPT
