 105.1 FBC[AMENDED] PLEASE PROVIDE A REVISED PERMIT
 APPLICATION TO UPDATE THE DESCRIPTION AND VALUE OF
 PROJECT.
  
 1) ART IN PUBLIC PLACES. THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH
 ART IN PUBLIC PLACES ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT THAT APPLIES
 TO ANY REMODEL OR NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR WHICH
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED AFTER 6/29/14, AND
 THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR
 GREATER THAN $750,000 WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH THIS
 ORDINANCE. PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ORDINANCE NO.
 4504-14, AND CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF
 ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION
 78-123(A) AND SECTION 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS
 1% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST. PER CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN
 PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-122, RENOVATION AND NEW
 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO THE
 ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS. SEC. 78-129. - PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT FOR
 PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT. (A) APPLICABILITY. THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS ARTICLE AND THE PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT SECTION
 SHALL APPLY TO ALL PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS,
 INCLUDING NEW CONSTRUCTION, OR THE RENOVATION OR
 IMPROVEMENT OF AN EXISTING BUILDING, WHERE TOTAL
 CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN
 $750,000.00. ALL BUILDINGS WITHIN NEW PLANNED
 DEVELOPMENTS SHALL BE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY TOWARDS
 THIS ART IN PUBLIC PLACES REQUIREMENT, EVEN IF THE
 BUILDINGS ARE PERMITTED SEPARATELY OR DEVELOPED IN
 PHASES. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION APPLY TO NEW
 DEVELOPMENT OR NEW CONSTRUCTION WITHIN EXISTING PLANNED
 DEVELOPMENTS.

 CODE SUMMARY ON SAME SHEET SAYS TYPE II UNPROTECTED.
 - PLEASE CHANGE OR ERASE SINCE I BELIEVE V-B IS THE
 CONSTRUCTION TYPE.
  
 3) 107.3.4.1 FBC[AMENDED] PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 WINDOWS, WINDOW MULL AND DOORS.
 - PLEASE PROVIDE DOOR AND WINDOW SCHEDULE TO SHOW SIZES
 AND DOOR TYPES (INCLUDE GLASS WALL SYSTEM). I RECEIVED
 PRODUCT APPROVAL (P.A.) FOR STOREFRONT. PLEASE CLARIFY
 WHERE THE STOREFRONT IS GOING.
  
 3A) 107.3.4.1 FBC[AMENDED] PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS.
 - I DIDN'T SEE P.A . FOR WINDOWS. ALSO, MULL IF NEEDED
 AT FRONT WINDOW.
  
 3B) 4107.3.4.1 FBC[AMENDED] PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS.
 - PLEASE PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF ANY NEW P.A.'S. WE WILL
 MAKE ADDITIONAL COPY OF ANY THAT ARE ALREADY SUBMITTED
 THAT GET APPROVED.
  
 4) 502.1 FBC[CE] GENERAL. ADDITIONS TO AN EXISTING
 BUILDING, BUILDING SYSTEM OR PORTION THEREOF SHALL
 CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AS THOSE
 PROVISIONS RELATE TO NEW CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT REQUIRING
 THE UNALTERED PORTION OF THE EXISTING BUILDING OR
 BUILDING SYSTEM TO COMPLY WITH THIS CODE. ADDITIONS
 SHALL NOT CREATE AN UNSAFE OR HAZARDOUS CONDITION OR
 OVERLOAD EXISTING BUILDING SYSTEMS. AN ADDITION SHALL
 BE DEEMED TO COMPLY WITH THIS CODE IF THE ADDITION
 ALONE COMPLIES OR IF THE EXISTING BUILDING AND ADDITION
 COMPLY WITH THIS CODE AS A SINGLE BUILDING. ADDITIONS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION C502.2. ADDITIONS COMPLYING
 WITH ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1. NEED NOT COMPLY WITH
 SECTIONS C402, C403, C404 AND C405.
 - PLEASE PROVIDE UPDATED ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO INCLUDE
 THE ADDITION. ALSO, USE THE CODE VERSION TO MATCH A AND
 S SHEETS.
  
 5) 107.3.4.1 FBC[AMENDED] PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR ROOFING
 INSULATION ATTACHMENT. R VALUES SHOULD BE PROVIDED IN
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS.
 - PROVIDE ENHANCED ATTACHMENT FOR INSULATION PER
 LIMITATION 5.9 MECHANICALLY ATTACHED INSULATION.
 - ROOFING CAN BE DEFRRED SUBMITTAL IF REQUESTED.

 THE BUILDING INSPECTOR PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
 - THE TRUSS SUBMITTAL CAN BE APPROVED NOW IF PUT IN
 SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AS A SUBMITTAL, OR IT CAN BE
 DEFERRED. IF DEFERED THE TRUSS PACKAGE NEEDS TO BE
 REVIEWED BY BUILDING INSPECTOR PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
  
 -PLEASE PROVIDE COMMENT RESPONSE SHEET TO EXPLAIN HOW
 EACH COMMENT IS BEING ADDRESSED.
  
 -ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE FORTHCOMING PENDING REVIEW
 OF MATERIALS REQUESTED.
  
 -WHEN RESUBMITTING, PROVIDE TWO IDENTICAL COLLATED SETS
 OF DOCUMENTS FOR ISSUANCE. OLD SHEETS (BOTH SETS)
 SHOULD BE RETAINED IN THE PACKAGE; PLEASE DO NOT
 DISCARD ANY DOCUMENTS. THEY SHOULD BE BOUND TOGETHER
 SEPARATELY FROM THE TWO ISSUANCE SETS AND MARKED "VOID"
 OR "OLD SHEETS". PLEASE DO NOT STAMP THE PLANS VOID AS
 APPLICANTS ARE INADVERTENTLY STAMPING SHEETS THAT WE
 NEED "VOID", RENDERING THEM NOT USABLE.
