 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) I COULD NOT FIND ANY DOCUMENTS ON FILE THAT SHOW THE
 CONVERSION OF THE STORAGE AREA IN THE GARAGE INTO A
 GUEST ROOM AND BATHROOM. UNLESS YOU CAN PROVIDE THE
 DOCUMENTATION, THIS WILL BE REVIEWED AS A CHANGE OF USE
 WITHIN AN R-3 OCCUPANCY TYPE. AN IMPACT FEE REVIEW WILL
 BE REQUIRED. PROVIDE AN AREA TABULATION THAT SEPARATES
 THE NEW ADDITION TO THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE SQUARE
 FOOTAGE OF THE GUEST ROOM AND BATH FROM THE REST OF THE
 EXISTING LIVING SPACE ON THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 2) SHOW HOW BED ROOM #2 ON SHEET A1.04 WILL COMPLY WITH
 FBC-R R310.1 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE REQUIRED.
 BASEMENTS, HABITABLE ATTICS AND EVERY SLEEPING ROOM
 SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPERABLE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING. FBC-R310.1.1 MINIMUM OPENING AREA. ALL
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A
 MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5.7 SQUARE FEET
  
  
 3) FBC-R314.3.1 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS.
 WHEN ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHEN ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS.
  
 4) FBC-R315.1 CARBON MONOXIDE PROTECTION. EVERY
 SEPARATE BUILDING OR AN ADDITION TO AN EXISTING
 BUILDING FOR WHICH A PERMIT FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION IS
 ISSUED AND HAVING A FOSSIL-FUEL-BURNING HEATER OR
 APPLIANCE, A FIREPLACE, AN ATTACHED GARAGE, OR OTHER
 FEATURE, FIXTURE, OR ELEMENT THAT EMITS CARBON MONOXIDE
 AS A BYPRODUCT OF COMBUSTION SHALL HAVE AN OPERATIONAL
 CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM INSTALLED WITHIN 10 FEET OF EACH
 ROOM USED FOR SLEEPING PURPOSES.
  
 5) ON SHEET S100 THERE IS AN ID TAG FOR SC1. THERE IS
 NOT AN SC1 LISTED IN THE LEGEND ON SHEET S100. PLEASE
 CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1
  
 6) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH
 FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE 7' WIDE SECTIONAL
 GARAGE DOORS, THE ROOFING (WATERPROOFING) MATERIAL THAT
 WILL BE USED ON THE BALCONY AND FOR LARGE MISSILE
 IMPACT RATED SINGLE HUNG AND FIXED WINDOWS (THE ONES
 SUBMITTED ARE FOR SMALL MISSILE).
  
 7) SPECIFY THE METHOD OF ATTACHMENT THAT WILL BE USED
 TO INSTALL THE CONCRETE ROOF TILE TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURN MOMENT. IF AN ADHESIVE WILL BE USED, SUBMIT
 THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR IT. FBC 107.3.4
  
 8) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 FABRIC COVERING THAT WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE PERGOLA.

 9) THE DOOR FROM THE GARAGE TO THE RESIDENCE SHALL
 COMPLY WITH FBC-R302.5.1 OPENING PROTECTION. OPENINGS
 FROM A PRIVATE GARAGE DIRECTLY INTO A ROOM USED FOR
 SLEEPING PURPOSES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED. OTHER
 OPENINGS BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND RESIDENCE SHALL BE
 EQUIPPED WITH SOLID WOOD DOORS NOT LESS THAN 13/8
 INCHES (35 MM) IN THICKNESS, SOLID OR HONEY-COMB-CORE
 STEEL DOORS NOT LESS THAN 13/8 INCHES (35 MM) THICK, OR
 20-MINUTE FIRE-RATED DOORS, EQUIPPED WITH A
 SELF-CLOSING DEVICE.
  
 10) THE WALL BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND THE CONDITIONED
 SPACED IS REQUIRED TO BE THERMALLY INSULATED. FBC

 11) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
