 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THESE PLANS ARE NOT BASED ON THE CURRENT 2014
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AND THE CURRENT EDITIONS OF THE
 STANDARDS THAT ARE REFERENCED BY THE 2014 FBC. PLEASE
 UPDATE THE PLANS TO THE 2014 FBC, THE 2014 FLORIDA FIRE
 PREVENTION CODE, AND THE 2012 EDITION OF NFPA 1 AND
 101. THERE ARE STILL SOME CORRECTIONS THAT WERE MISSED.
 SEE SHEET 1 OF 10 AND SHEET A1.0.
  
 2) REVISE THE CODE SECTIONS THAT ARE SPECIFIED ON THE
 PLANS TO CORRESPOND WITH THE APPROPRIATE SECTIONS IN
 THE 2014 FBC. ON SHEET 1 OF 10, SECTION 504 AND 504.1
 OF THE 2014 FBC EXISTING BUILDING ARE THE SECTIONS FOR
 LEVEL 2 ALTERATIONS.
  
 3) ON SHEET A3.0 THE ROOFING MATERIAL IS SPECIFIED AS
 ASPHALT TILE ROOF ON A 90# HOT MOPPED TO A 30# BASE
 SHEET. PLEASE CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1 WILL ASPHALT
 SHINGLES OR CONCRETE ROOF TILE BE INSTALLED? HOT MOPPED
 90# IS NOT USED AS AN UNDERLAYMENT FOR ASPHALT
 SHINGLES.
  
 4) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBERS THAT ARE SPECIFIED ON
 THE PLANS FOR THE WINDOWS IN THE SCHEDULE ON SHEET A4.0
 AND THE TRUSS CONNECTORS ON SHEET S2.0 ARE EXPIRED.
 PLEASE UPDATE.
  
 5) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH
 FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT
 ROOFING MATERIALS, WINDOW/GLASS TYPES, STRUCTURAL
 MULLIONS, SKYLIGHTS AND EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES.
  
 6) ON SHEET S1.0, UNDER GENERAL STRUCTURAL NOTES THE
 WINDSPEED IS INCORRECT AND THE EDITIONS OF ACI 318 AND
 ASCE 7 ARE INCORRECT. THE 2014 FBC REFERENCES ACI 318 -
 11 AND ASCE 7 - 10. PLEASE CORRECT FBC-R CHAPTER 46.
  
 10) THE WF12 MONOLITHIC FOUNDATION THAT IS SPECIFIED ON
 SHEET S1.0 FOR THE NEW ADDITION IS NOT ADEQUATE FOR THE
 EXTERIOR CBS WALL CONSTRUCTION. THERE IS ONLY ONE #5
 CONTINUOUS RE-BAR SPECIFIED. THE FOOTER WILL HAVE TO BE
 A MINIMUM OF 16" THICK. FBC-R404.1.6 HEIGHT ABOVE
 FINISHED GRADE. CONCRETE AND MASONRY FOUNDATION WALLS
 SHALL EXTEND ABOVE THE FINISHED GRADE ADJACENT TO THE
 FOUNDATION AT ALL POINTS A MINIMUM OF 4 INCHES (102 MM)
 WHERE MASONRY VENEER IS USED AND A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES
 (152 MM) ELSEWHERE. R403.1.4 MINIMUM DEPTH. ALL
 EXTERIOR FOOTINGS SHALL BE PLACED AT LEAST 12 INCHES
 (305 MM) BELOW THE UNDISTURBED GROUND SURFACE. THE
 EXTERIOR FOOTINGS THAT WILL SUPPORT THE NEW EXTERIOR
 CBS WALLS SHOULD BE LABELED DIFFERENTLY FROM THE 12" X
 12" THICKENED EDGE THAT IS AGAINST THE EXISTING
 FOUNDATION WHERE THE DOWELS WILL BE INSTALLED. PROVIDE
 A SECTION FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT FOUNDATION TYPES.
  
 11) THE VALUATION LISTED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION OF
 $12,000.00 IS LOW. PLEASE PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE VALUATION
 BASED ON FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 12) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
