 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) ON SHEET S.2 OF THE PLANS THE ELEVATIONS INDICATE
 THAT THE EXISTING CARPORT HAS A FLAT ROOF. THE EXTERIOR
 WALL SECTION ON SHEET S.1 SHOWS A VAULTED CEILING.
 PROVIDE CLARIFICATION AND SPECIFY THE CEILING HEIGHT IN
 THE ENCLOSED CARPORT ADDITION ON THE PLANS. SEE
 FBC-R305.1 MINIMUM HEIGHT. HABITABLE SPACE, HALLWAYS,
 BATHROOMS, TOILET ROOMS, LAUNDRY ROOMS AND PORTIONS OF
 BASEMENTS CONTAINING THESE SPACES SHALL HAVE A CEILING
 HEIGHT OF NOT LESS THAN 7 FEET (2134 MM).
  
 2) CLARIFY HOW THE ATTIC SPACE OR ENCLOSED RAFTER
 SPACES WILL BE VENTILATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-R806.1
 VENTILATION REQUIRED. ENCLOSED ATTICS AND ENCLOSED
 RAFTER SPACES FORMED WHERE CEILINGS ARE APPLIED
 DIRECTLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF RAFTERS SHALL HAVE
 CROSS VENTILATION FOR EACH SEPARATE SPACE BY
 VENTILATING OPENINGS PROTECTED AGAINST THE ENTRANCE OF
 RAIN OR SNOW. VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A LEAST
 DIMENSION OF 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM) MINIMUM AND 1/4 INCH
 (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM. VENTILATION OPENINGS HAVING A LEAST
 DIMENSION LARGER THAN 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH CORROSION-RESISTANT WIRE CLOTH SCREENING,
 HARDWARE CLOTH, OR SIMILAR MATERIAL WITH OPENINGS
 HAVING A LEAST DIMENSION OF 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM) MINIMUM
 AND 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM. OPENINGS IN ROOF FRAMING
 MEMBERS SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
 R802.1.8. REQUIRED VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL OPEN
 DIRECTLY TO THE OUTSIDE AIR.
  
 3) THE VALUATION FOR THE WORK LISTED ON THE APPLICATION
 IS $1000.00. THE VALUATION OF WORK SHOULD BE WHAT A
 CONTRACTOR WILL CHARGE FOR LABOR, MATERIAL AND PROFIT
 FOR THIS PROJECT. FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN
 FEES, MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING
 ONLY LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE
 LATEST PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST
 ANALYSIS SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS
 PUBLISHED BY INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL
 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING
