 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 NOTE THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT / PERMITTED IN 2004. THIS
 BUILDING IS SUBJECT TO FAIR HOUSING REQUIREMENTS.
 2014 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE/ FAIR HOUSING
 ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES. SECTION 3. FAIR HOUSING ACT
 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS. FOR PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, A COVERED MULTIFAMILY DWELLING SHALL BE
 DEEMED TO BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED FOR FIRST
 OCCUPANCY ON OR BEFORE MARCH 13, 1991, IF THEY ARE
 OCCUPIED BY THAT DATE OR IF THE LAST BUILDING PERMIT OR
 RENEWAL THEREOF FOR THE COVERED MULTIFAMILY DWELLINGS
 IS ISSUED BY A STATE, COUNTY OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT ON OR
 BEFORE JANUARY 13, 1990.
  
 1) SHEET A101. THE NEW ISLAND HAS (2) PINCH POINTS ON
 THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ISLAND APPROXIMATELY 30 INCHES AND
 ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ISLAND FROM THE ISLAND TO
 CLOSEST WALL 30 INCHES AND FROM THE BACK OF THE CHAIR
 TO THE WALL 24 INCHES.
 REQUIREMENT 4 - ACCESSIBLE ROUTE INTO AND THROUGH THE
 COVERED DWELLING UNIT.
 GUIDELINE. ACCESSIBLE ROUTES INTO AND THROUGH DWELLING
 UNITS WOULD MEET SECTION 100.205(C)(3)(I):
 (1) A MINIMUM CLEAR WIDTH OF 36 INCHES IS PROVIDED.
  
 2A) SHEET A101. INDICATES IN BATHROOM # 2 THE REMOVAL
 OF A TUB AND CREATING A SHOWER & ENCLOSURE. THE PLANS
 DO NOT INDICATE WHAT TYPE OF BACKER BOARD IS TO BE
 INSTALLED IN THE SHOWER ENCLOSURE. PLEASE PROVIDE
 COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2014 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE.
 GLASS MAT WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING PANELS,
 DISCRETE NONASBESTOS FIBER-CEMENT INTERIOR SUBSTRATE
 SHEETS OR NONASBESTOS FIBER-MAT REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS
 BACKER UNITS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASTM C 1178, C 1288 OR
 C 1325 AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER
 RECOMMENDATIONS SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR WALL TILE
 IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALL AND CEILING PANELS IN
 SHOWER AREAS. WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD
 SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET
 COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 GA-216 OR ASTM C 840 AND MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS.
 REGULAR GYPSUM WALLBOARD IS PERMITTED UNDER TILE OR
 WALL PANELS IN OTHER WALL AND CEILING AREAS WHEN
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GA-216 OR ASTM C 840.
  
 2B) FBC-B 2509.3 LIMITATIONS. WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM
 BACKING BOARD SHALL NOT BE USED IN THE FOLLOWING
 LOCATIONS:
 1. OVER A VAPOR RETARDER IN SHOWER OR BATHTUB
 COMPARTMENTS.
  
 2. WHERE THERE WILL BE DIRECT EXPOSURE TO WATER OR IN
 AREAS SUBJECT TO CONTINUOUS HIGH HUMIDITY.
 3. ON CEILINGS WHERE FRAME SPACING EXCEEDS 12 INCHES
 (305 MM) O.C. FOR 1/2-INCH THICK (12.7 MM)
 WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD AND MORE THAN 16
 INCHES (406 MM) O.C. FOR 5/8-INCH THICK
 WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD.
  
 3) PLEASE NOTE THE ARCHITECTS SEAL IS 1 ? INCHES IN
 DIAMETER. FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RULE 61G1-16.002
 AN ARCHITECTS SEAL SHALL BE APPROXIMATELY 2 INCHES IN
 DIAMETER.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
