 REVIEW COMMENTS.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEE ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF IMPACT FEES
 PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE
 ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R101.4.3 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
  
 3- THE PROPOSED BEDROOM NEEDS THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R310.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE LIGHT AND VENTILATION
 REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH ROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R303.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING REQUIREMENTS FOR
 EACH ROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R303.9 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 6- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 FOR THE DOORS AND WINDOWS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PLANS SPECIFY EXISTING 3'-0 X 6'-8" ENTRY DOOR AND
 EXISTING SINGLE HUNG WINDOW. THERE ARE NO CITY RECORDS
 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE ENTRY DOOR. ALSO, PHOTOS ON
 THE INTERNET WHEN THE HOUSE WAS FOR SALE SHOW A GARAGE
 WITH NO DOORS, EXCEPT FOR THE OPENING FOR A GARAGE
 DOOR. AND THE WINDOW SEEMS TO BE FAIRLY NEW. SEE
 ATTACHED PHOTO. PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION
 OF NEW DOOR AND REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS. PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WILL BE REQUIRED. SEE ITEM # 8 BELOW. REVISE
 INFORMATION ON PLANS AND PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION
 FOR THE FRAMING OF THE ENTRY DOOR. SEC. R301.1

 8- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) ENTRY DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) SINGLE HUNG WINDOW AS SHOWN PLANS.
  
 C) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOW AND DOORS WITH GLAZING
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. SEE CITY SAMPLE.
  
 9- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ABOVE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- REVISE CODES FOR REFERENCE INFORMATION ON SHEET
 A.1: THIS IS ALTERATION LEVEL 3 NOT 2 AND CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEE SEC. 505 AND 506
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 11- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO CLARIFY WHY THE ROOF LIVE
 LOAD SPECIFIED ON THE DESIGN PARAMETERS AND STRUCTURAL
 NOTE #2 ON SHEET A.1 IS ONLY 10PSF?. WHERE IS THIS
 DESIGN CRITERIA TAKEN FROM? PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSE.
 SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO, CLARIFY WHY THE
 BOTTOM CHORD DEAD LOAD IS 30PSF?. WHAT IS THIS TRUSS
 SUPPORTING?.
  
 12- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT (EVEN FOR
 OWNER/BUILDERS) AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE THE
 VALUATION AS REQUIRED.
  
 NOTE: WHEN SURVEY IS SUBMITTED ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY
 APPLY DEPENDING ON THE DISTANCE FROM THE STRUCTURE TO
 THE PROPERTY LINES.
