 PROVIDE IS THE 24 INCHES THE TOP OF BACKING, CENTER
 LINE OF BACKING AND WHAT IS THE HEIGHT OF THE BACKING.
 THE FAIR HOUSING CODE REQUIRES BACKING FOR TUBS AND
 SHOWERS, AND FOR 36 X 36 INCH SHOWERS THE SHOWER STALL
 SEAT MUST HAVE REINFORCING TO ALLOW FOR THE
 INSTALLATION OF AN OPTIONAL WALL HUNG SEAT. FAIR
 HOUSING ALSO USES THE ANSI A117.1 AND FOR SEATS IN
 SHOWERS SHALL BE 17 INCHES MINIMUM TO 19 INCHES MAXIMUM
 ABOVE THE BATHROOM. THE BACKING HAS TO BE IN HEIGHT
 PLACED TO MEET THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOUND UNDER FAIR
 HOUSING AND ANSI A117.1. IF THE DESIGNER WISHES TO HAVE
 BACKING AT A HIGHER HEIGHT FOR A FUTURE SEAT THEY WILL
 ALSO NEED TO MEET THE REQUIRED BACKING RANGE BY THE
 CODE. PLEASE ADD THE ADDITIONAL BACKING REQUIRED AND
 CLARIFY WHAT THE 24 INCHES ABOVE FINISH FLOOR IS
 RELATIVE TOO.
