 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE VALUATION OF $5,000.00 IS EXTREMELY LOW FOR THE
 SCOPE OF WORK OF DEMO BOTH THE WOMENS AND MENS RESTROOM
 AND THE INSTALLATION OF NEW FINISHES AND PLUMBING
 FIXTURES, LABOR AND MATERIAL, FLOOR, WALL BACKER BOARD
 AND TILE FINISHES AS WELL AS LIGHTING.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 THIS MAIN BUILDING PERMIT WILL INCLUDE THE FEES FOR THE
 MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING & ROOFING PERMITS.
 WHEN THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR COMES IN FOR A BUILDING
 PERMIT WITH THE SIGNED PERMIT APPLICATION FORM BY THE
 QUALIFIER AND OWNER AND BRINGS IN THE LISTED
 SUB-PERMITS M-E-P & ROOFING PERMITS SIGNED BY THE
 QUALIFIER OF EACH COMPANY, THEIR INSURANCES AND
 LICENSURE UP TO DATE, THE M-E-P AND ROOFING PERMITS ARE
 FREE OF CHARGE. IF THE M-E-P & ROOFING PERMITS COME IN
 LATER THERE WILL BE AN $80.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR
 EACH PERMIT.
  
 ALL OTHER PERMITS FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE ALARM, RACK
 STORAGE, EXHAUST HOODS, ANSUL SYSTEMS OR ALTERNATIVE
 AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS, WALK IN COOLERS &
 FREEZERS, ALL LOW VOLTAGE PERMITS, GENERATORS & FUEL
 TANKS, GAS PERMIT, POOL, JACUZZI AND ASSOCIATED
 SUB-PERMITS, AWNING, SCREEN ENCLOSURES, CANOPY, FENCE,
 LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AUGER CAST PILE AND OR
 FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURE ONLY PERMIT WILL BE SEPARATE
 REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES WITH EACH PERMIT.
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN ITEMIZED LIST AND SUBTRACT THESE LINE
 ITEMS AND THEIR VALUE FROM THE OVERALL BUILDING VALUE
 STATED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THIS PROJECT. THE
 REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE AFFECTIVELY THE VALUE OF THE
 BUILDING YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR THIS PERMIT. THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT DOES NOT WANT TO COLLECT TWICE FOR
 THE VALUE OF THESE SUB-PERMITS NOT COVERED UNDER THE
 PRIME OR MASTER PERMIT.

 2A) DETAILS 2, 3, 7 & 8 ALL SHOW EITHER ACCESSIBLE
 TOILET ROOMS AND OR STALLS. ALL OF THE DETAILS HAVE THE
 HEIGHT OF THE WATER CLOSET AS 1 FOOT, 3 INCHES OR 15
 INCHES IN HEIGHT. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION 604.4 SEATS OF
 THE 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE. 04.4 SEATS. THE SEAT HEIGHT
 OF A WATER CLOSET ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR SHALL BE 17
 INCHES MINIMUM AND 19 INCHES MAXIMUM MEASURED TO THE
 TOP OF THE SEAT. SEATS SHALL NOT BE SPRUNG TO RETURN TO
 A LIFTED POSITION.
  
 2B) DETAILS 2, 3, 7 & 8 ALL SHOW EITHER ACCESSIBLE
 TOILET ROOMS AND OR STALLS. ALL OF THE DETAILS HAVE THE
 HEIGHT OF THE GRAB BARS MEASURED FROM FINISH FLOOR TO
 THE CENTERLINE OF THE GRAB BAR. PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE
 OCCURRED IN THE 2014 ACCESS. CODE. GRAB BARS ARE TO BE
 MEASURED VERTICALLY FROM THE FINISH FLOOR TO THE TOP OF
 THE GRASPABLE SURFACE, 33 TO 36 INCHES FROM FINISH
 FLOOR. SEE ACCESS. CODE 604.5.
  
 2C) DETAILS 2, 3, 7 & 8 ALL SHOW EITHER ACCESSIBLE
 TOILET ROOMS AND OR STALLS. ALL OF THE DETAILS ALSO
 SHOW THE WATER CLOSET BACK AND SIDE GRAB BARS. NONE OF
 THE GRAB BARS SHOW THE DIMENSIONS FOR PLACEMENT. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 ACCESS. CODE SECTIONS
 604.5.1 SIDE WALL AND 604.5.2 REAR WALL.
  
 2D) NONE OF THE DETAILS PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 ACCESS. CODE SECTION 609.8 STRUCTURAL STRENGTH.
  
 2E) DETAILS 3 & 6 BOTH INDICATE THE MIRROR OVER THE
 ACCESSIBLE LAVATORY. THE MIRRORS ARE 40 7/8 INCHES
 ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR. PLEASE NOTE THE MIRRORS DO NOT
 INDICATE IF THERE IS A RIM/ TRIM AROUND THE MIRRORS.
 THE MIRRORS ARE TO BE MOUNTED TO THE WALL SO THE BOTTOM
 EDGE OF THE MIRRORS REFLECTIVE SURFACE IS NO HIGHER
 (MAXIMUM) OF 40 INCHES ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR. 2014
 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 603.3.
  
 2F) DETAIL 2 & 7 BOTH SHOW TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS BUT
 THE MEASUREMENT FOR THE LOCATION IN FRONT OF THE WATER
 CLOSET IS NOT GIVEN, PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH
 2014 ACCESS. CODE 604.7.
  
 2G) DETAIL #5 THE MENS ACCESSIBLE TOILET ROOM SHOWS THE
 FLUSH CONTROL ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE WATER CLOSET.
 FLUSH CONTROLS SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE OPEN SIDE OF THE
 WATER CLOSET. SEE 604.6.
  
 2H) DETAILS 2, 5 & 6 ALL SHOW THE LOCATION FOR THE NEW
 HAND DRIER. THE PLANS SHOW THE HAND DRIER WITH THE
 BOTTOM OF THE HAND DRIER AT AN ELEVATION OF 48 INCHES
 ABOVE THE REACH RANGES, SEE 308.2 AND 308.3.FOR REACH
 RANGES, ALSO REFER TO 309.(2-4) OPERABLE PARTS.
  
 2I) THE PLANS INDICATE THE WATER CLOSET LOCATION IS NOT
 TO VARY, BUT THE PLANS SHOULD INDICATE COMPLIANCE WITH
 2014 FBC-ACCESS CODE. WATER CLOSET SHALL BE POSITIONED
 WITH A WALL OR PARTITION TO THE REAR AND TO ONE SIDE.
 THE CENTERLINE OF THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE 16 INCHES
 MINIMUM TO 18 INCHES MAXIMUM FROM THE SIDE WALL OR
 PARTITION.
  
 2J) BATHROOM NOTES AND FIXTURES. THE NOTE INDICATES THE
 USE OF 5/8 INCH MOISTURE RESISTANT GYPSUM WALLBOARD.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR
 TILE. GLASS MAT WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING PANELS,
 DISCRETE NONASBESTOS FIBER-CEMENT INTERIOR SUBSTRATE
 SHEETS OR NONASBESTOS FIBER-MAT REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS
 BACKER UNITS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASTM C 1178, C 1288 OR
 C 1325 AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER
 RECOMMENDATIONS SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR WALL TILE
 IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALL AND CEILING PANELS IN
 SHOWER AREAS. WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD
 SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET
 COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 GA-216 OR ASTM C 840 AND MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
 2K) TACTILE SIGNAGE INDICATES THE ELEVATION TO BE
 CENTER LINED AT 60 INCHES OF THE FLOOR. PLEASE REFER TO
 THE 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE SECTION 703.4.1 HEIGHT ABOVE
 FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND. TACTILE CHARACTERS ON SIGNS
 SHALL BE LOCATED 48 INCHES (1220 MM) MINIMUM ABOVE THE
 FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND SURFACE, MEASURED FROM THE
 BASELINE OF THE LOWEST TACTILE CHARACTER AND 60 INCHES
 (1525 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND
 SURFACE, MEASURED FROM THE BASELINE OF THE HIGHEST
 TACTILE CHARACTER.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
