 IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW THESE ITEMS HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED. I
 AM IN RECEIPT OF AN EMAIL WHICH STATES:
  
 "I?M EMAILING YOU TODAY IN REGARDS TO THE CORRECTIONS
 SUBMITTED THIS MORNING. NOW THAT WE?VE DETERMINED
 PRESSURES BASED ON RAS 128, ARE WE GOOD TO GO? THE
 EXISTING MECHANICAL PERMIT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR
 PROJECT, AND THE PREVIOUS ROOFING PERMIT IS BEING
 REPLACED BY OUR NEW ONE. WE ARE THE ONLY ROOFER ON THIS
 JOB."
  
 THIS IS IN CONFLICT WITH THE APPLICATION (WHICH HAS THE
 QUALIFIER'S NOTARIZED SIGNATURE), PERMIT DOCUMENTS, AND
 OUR DOCUMENTS.
  
 A LOCATION PLAN WAS REQUESTED AT THE COUNTER; I PRINTED
 AN AERIAL AND GAVE TO CJ TO FACILITATE THE LOCATION
 PLAN.
  
 IF THIS PERMIT IS UNRELATED TO THE MECHANICAL PERMIT,
 PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING LOCATION OF THE MECHANICAL
 PERMIT WORK, LOCATION OF THIS PROPOSED WORK.
  
 THE PREVIOUS ROOFING PERMIT IS RELATED TO THE
 MECHANICAL PERMIT. HOW CAN THIS PERMIT REPLACE THAT
 ROOFING PERMIT AND BE UNRELATED TO THE MECHANICAL
 PERMIT?
  
 ADDRESS THE COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS LIST:
  
 1. OPEN MECHANICAL PERMIT, 17050350 STATES THAT THE
 DESIGN CRITERIA IS FOR AN OPEN BUILDING, APPROXIMATELY
 119' HIGH, 170MPH EXPOSURE C.
  
 IT APPEARS THAT THIS PROJECT IS APPROXIMATELY 20' HIGH,
 EITHER PARTIALLY ENCLOSED OR ENCLOSED.
 SEOR (JOE MINCUZZI, PE, ONM&J) DID NOT SPECIFY
 COMPONENT AND CLADDING PRESSURES.
  
 SEOR IS TO SPECIFY C&C PRESSURES FOR THIS PROJECT, FBC
 B 1609.
  
 3RD REVIEW, NOT ADDRESSED. ONE COPY OF STRUCTURAL
 CALCULATIONS FOR THE CURB WAS PROVIDED. PROVIDE TWO
 ORIGINALS. THIS CAN BE ISSUED WITH PROVISO THAT AN
 ORIGINAL IS MAILED TO ME, OR DIGITALLY SIGNED AND
 SEALED AND SENT VIA EMAIL, UPON REQUEST BY THE
 ENGINEER. (CONTRACTOR CANNOT COMMIT ON BEHALF OF THE
 ENGINEER)
  
 2. THE VALUE OF PERMIT 17050350 APPEARS TOO LOW TO
 INCLUDE THIS PERMIT; PROVIDE A COPY OF THE CONTRACT FOR
 THIS JOB.
  
 3. SEOR IS TO REVIEW THE ROOFING SUBMITTAL PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL TO THE CITY, FBC 107.
  
 4. PROVIDE A LETTER FROM MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR (WHO IS
 ACTING AS PRIME CONTRACTOR ON THIS JOB) REQUESTING THAT
 THE OTHER OPEN ROOFING PERMIT (17051222) BE REVOKED,
 FBC 107. THIS MAY BE SENT DIRECTLY TO ME VIA EMAIL. THE
 LETTER IS TO BE ON LETTERHEAD, SIGNED BY THE QUALIFIER.
  
 5. A BUILDING PERMIT OR A REVISION IS REQUIRED. THE
 PLAN SPECIFIES STRUCTURAL WORK INCLUDING STRUCTURAL
 REPAIR; THIS IS NOT WITHIN THE SCOPE OF A MECHANICAL OR
 A ROOFING CONTRACTOR LICENSE. THE REQUESTED ROOF WORK
 CANNOT BE DONE UNTIL THE STRUCTURAL WORK IS INSPECTED.
  
 3RD REVIEW, SCOPE IS NOT CLEAR. APPLICATION AND ALL
 INFORMATION PROVIDED INDICATES THAT THIS ROOF PERMIT IS
 RELATED TO MECHANICAL PERMIT. EMAIL STATES OTHERWISE.
 IF THIS PERMIT IS UNRELATED, PROVIDE A NEW APPLICATION
 AND LOCATION PLAN AS REQUESTED. IF THIS PERMIT IS
 RELATED TO THE MECHANICAL PERMIT, THIS PERMIT WILL NOT
 BE ISSUED UNTIL A BUILDING SUB PERMIT IS OBTAINED.
  
 6. TO RESOLVE, APPLICANT HAS THREE OPTIONS:
  
 ADDRESS THE COMMENTS AND RESUBMIT. PLEASE CALL ME AFTER
 THE PACKAGE HAS BEEN SUBMITTED AND I WILL TRY TO DO THE
 REVIEW WHILE YOU ARE HERE, ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT THE WAY
 WE DO REVIEWS. COMMERCIAL RE-ROOFS HAVE A THREE
 BUSINESS DAY TARGET TURNAROUND TIME, RESIDENTIAL
 REROOFS HAVE A ONE BUSINESS DAY TARGET. YOUR
 APPLICATION IS RELATED TO AN EXISTING ALTERATION PERMIT
 (NOT CONSIDERED A REROOF), SO TARGET IS A WEEK. MY
 ATTEMPT TO ASSIST YOU AT THE COUNTER THAT DAY AND ISSUE
 A TURNAROUND PERMIT WAS UNUSUAL - WE CANNOT DO THIS FOR
 EVERY PERMIT.
  
 OR,
  
 CLARIFY SCOPE VIA EMAIL (ALL DOCUMENTS ARE FOR A CURB
 AND REROOF RELATED TO MECHANICAL PERMIT 17050350). IF
 THIS IS A ROOF SUB TO MECHANICAL PERMIT 17050350, I CAN
 PASS THE REVIEW WITH PROVISO: ENGINEER'S LETTER
 APPROVING REDUCED DESIGN CRITERIA SPECIFIED BY ROOFING
 CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED, BUILDING SUB
 PERMIT TO BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF ROOFING SUB
 PERMIT.
  
 OR,
  
 SUBMIT A REVISION TO THE MASTER PERMIT TO CHANGE SCOPE
 TO INCLUDE A REROOF, CHANGE OF CONTRACTOR FORM FOR THE
 ROOF PERMIT, OBTAIN A BUILDING SUB PERMIT.
