 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A -2:
 1A) SHEET A-2 SHOWS THE PORTICO AND FRONT ENTRY DRIVE
 BEING BROUGHT UP TO THE SAME GRADE (ELEVATION) AS THE
 SIDEWALK. PLEASE PROVIDE HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014
 FBC-ACCESS. CODE SECTION 209.2.1 PASSENGER LOADING
 ZONES. PASSENGER LOADING ZONES, EXCEPT THOSE REQUIRED
 TO COMPLY WITH 209.2.2 SHALL PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE
 PASSENGER LOADING ZONE COMPLYING WITH ACCESS. CODE 503.
  
 1A)(1) 503.2 VEHICLE PULL-UP SPACE. PASSENGER LOADING
 ZONES SHALL PROVIDE A VEHICULAR PULL-UP SPACE 96 INCHES
 (2440 MM) WIDE MINIMUM AND 20 FEET (6100 MM) LONG
 MINIMUM.
  
 1A)(2) 503.3 ACCESS AISLE. PASSENGER LOADING ZONES
 SHALL PROVIDE ACCESS AISLES COMPLYING WITH 503 ADJACENT
 TO THE VEHICLE PULL-UP SPACE. ACCESS AISLES SHALL
 ADJOIN AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE AND SHALL NOT OVERLAP THE
 VEHICULAR WAY.
  
 2) SHEET A2 THE FLOOR PLAN INDICATES A NEW USAGE FROM
 AN OFFICE TO A NEWLY PROPOSED EMPLOYEE BREAK ROOM.
 PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE STAIRS TO THIS BREAK ROOM BUT NO
 VERTICAL ACCESSIBILITY TO THE BREAK ROOM.
 SEE ACCESS. CODE 201.1.1 VERTICAL ACCESSIBILITY.
 BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND FACILITIES MUST, AT A
 MINIMUM, COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ADA
 STANDARDS FOR ACCESSIBLE DESIGN.
  
 3) SHEET A-9 SHOWS A NEW BUFFET AND SEATING AREA.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE/ DINING SURFACES.
  
 THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET DOES NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE;
 3A) 226.1 WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE
 CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE
 SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.
  
 3B) 902.1 .DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL.
 DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BARS,
 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS. EXAMPLES OF WORK
 SURFACES INCLUDE WRITING SURFACES, STUDY CARRELS,
 STUDENT LABORATORY STATIONS, BABY CHANGING AND OTHER
 TABLES OR FIXTURES FOR PERSONAL GROOMING, COUPON
 COUNTERS, AND WHERE COVERED BY THE ABA SCOPING
 PROVISIONS, EMPLOYEE WORK STATIONS.
  
 3B)(1) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 3B)(2) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM) MINIMUM AND
 34 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
  
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 FOR PLAN REVIEW. 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014 WEST

 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
