 1. REPEAT COMMENT - FBC B 1008, PANIC DEVICE REQUIRED
 FOR THE DOORS (ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY WITH OCC LOAD OVER
 50). AS DISCUSSED AND NOTED IN PREVIOUS PLAN REVIEWS,
 THE STOREFRONT AND DOORS ARE A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF
 THE PROPOSED WORK AND NON COMPLIANT INFORMATION HAS
 BEEN SUBMITTED IN EACH OF THE FIVE REVIEWS. FOR THIS
 REASON, THIS INFORMATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO PERMIT
 ISSUANCE AND WILL NOT BE A PROVISO ITEM AS IS OUR
 GENERAL PRACTICE.
  
 THE DOOR PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED IS FOR A NON IMPACT
 DOOR AND DOES NOT INCLUDE A PANIC DEVICE.
  
 IMPACT PROTECTION IS REQUIRED PER FBC B 1609.1.2.
  
 A SHUTTER IS NOT PERMITTED AT THE DOORS PER FBC B
 1003.6. SHUTTERS ARE PERMITTED AT EXITS WHEN THEY FALL
 UNDER THE EXEMPTION FBC B 1008.1.4, BUT THIS EXEMPTION
 DOES NOT INCLUDE ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY. USE OF NON IMPACT
 DOORS WOULD REQUIRE APPROVAL BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL;
 APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE RATIONALE IN A SIGNED AND SEALED
 LETTER.
  
 USE OF REMOVABLE SHUTTERS IN A COMMERCIAL BUILDING
 REQUIRES APPROVAL BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. IT IS NOT
 CLEAR WHETHER FIXED OR REMOVABLE IMPACT PROTECTION IS
 PROPOSED.
  
 NO THRESHOLD INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED; ADA THRESHOLD
 REQUIRED ON BOTH DOORS; IS THIS WHAT IS PROPOSED?

 2. BUILDING TYPE NOT CLEAR; IIB IS STATED IN SOME

 3. THIS PERMIT WILL BE ISSUED WITH PROVISO:
  
 THE EXISTING DOOR IS SHOWN AS PERMANENTLY LOCKED. SEE
 FBC B 1008.1.9,
  
 THIS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE FIELD INSPECTOR'S APPROVAL.
 IF THE DOOR LOOKS LIKE A DOOR, REMOVAL OF THE HARDWARE
 WILL NOT BE ADEQUATE TO RESOLVE THE COMMENT. IF
 APPLICANT IS ABLE TO MODIFY THE DOOR IN SUCH A WAY THAT
 IT IS CLEARLY NOT A DOOR, THAT IS ACCEPTABLE. A
 REVISION SHOWING MODIFICATIONS IMPLEMENTED MAY BE
 REQUIRED, SUBJECT TO FIELD INSPECTOR'S DISCRETION.
