 REQUIRED SECOND EXIT.
  
 PERMIT #17010091, PLAN PREPARED BY MARK S. BEATTY
 AR92184 WAS SUBMITTED AND ISSUED TO SEPARATE UNIT 28
 FROM UNITS 26/27. THE PLAN DID NOT SHOW EXISTING
 OCCUPANCY OR ROOM DESIGNATIONS. THIS PERMIT CREATED A
 LIFE SAFETY ISSUE WHICH MUST BE CORRECTED BEFORE UNITS
 26/27 CAN BE OCCUPIED.
  
 THE DINING AREA, WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 151, HAS BEEN
 DESIGNED TO HAVE ONLY ONE COMPLIANT EXIT, TWO REQUIRED.
  
 PAPA RECORDS SHOW YEAR BUILT AS 1987. STANDARD BUILDING
 CODE 1982 (ALSO SBC1985, SBC1988) REQUIREMENTS WERE
 SIMILAR TO CURRENT CODE - TWO EXITS REQUIRED, EXITING
 THROUGH KITCHENS PROHIBITED.
  
 IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY PERMIT 17010091 DID NOT DISCLOSE
 THAT INSTALLATION OF A WALL CREATED AN EXITING ISSUE,
 AND WHY PERMIT APPLICATION 17060359 DID NOT CORRECT THE
 LIFE SAFETY VIOLATION.
  
 5. THE SEATING PLAN ON A4 DOES NOT INCLUDE AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE, FBC A CHAPTER 4, COMPLIANCE WITH
 ACCESSIBLE SEATING REQUIREMENTS NOT SHOWN. ALTHOUGH
 THIS REVIEW DOES NOT COVER MOVEABLE SEATS, A PLAN WHICH
 OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW CANNOT BE
 STAMPED AS APPROVED.
  
 6. PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE BAR SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 FBC A 226, 902.
  
 7. EVIDENCE THAT THE ADVANCED FLORIDA BUILDING CODE
 COURSE WAS TAKEN IS REQUIRED TO BE SENT TO FBPE SO THAT
 THE DBPR WEBSITE CAN BE UPDATED (JAMES BIAGI,PE),
 PLEASE ADDRESS PRIOR TO RESUBMITTAL, FS471.0195. THIS
 COMMENT DOES NOT PREVENT THIS PERMIT FROM BEING ISSUED.
  
 8. SHEET A1 SHOWS THIS UNIT AS IN THE "NORTH WEST
 WING"' NOT CLEAR WHAT THIS MEANS. REVISE THE PLANS AND
 APPLICATION TO INCLUDE UNIT NUMBERS. BASED ON THE
 PHOTOGRAPH, I WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT THIS IS LIKELY
 THE UNITS REFERENCED IN COMMENT #3, WHICH ARE IN THE
 CENTER OF THE STRIP MALL. IT HAS AN EAST/WEST
 ORIENTATION, NOT CLEAR HOW THIS IS IN A "NORTH WEST
 WING."
