 ADMINISTRATION
  
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE 1ST REVIEW THE SIGN WAS A HAND PAINTED SIGN.
 THIS REVIEW THE LETTERS ARE SHOWN TO BE ? INCH THICK
 FLAT CUT PVC LETTERS. THE ANCHORING DESIGN HAS NOT
 GIVEN THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA THESE LETTERS WERE
 DESIGNED TO?
  
 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA. THE FOLLOWING
 INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL BE SHOWN,
 REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE DESIGN OF
 THE LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE STRUCTURE:
  
 1.1. ULTIMATE DESIGN WIND SPEED, VULT, (3-SECOND GUST),
 MILES PER HOUR AND NOMINAL DESIGN WIND SPEED, VASD, AS
 DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1609.3.1.
  
 1.2. RISK CATEGORY.
  
 1.3. WIND EXPOSURE. APPLICABLE WIND DIRECTION IF MORE
 THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS UTILIZED. TABLE 1609.7.2.
 HEIGHT AND EXPOSURE.
  
 1.4. APPLICABLE INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
  
 1.5. DESIGN WIND PRESSURES TO BE USED FOR EXTERIOR
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT SPECIFICALLY
 DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN OF THE STRUCTURE, PSF.
  
 TABLE 1609.7(2) ADJUSTMENT FACTORS FOR HEIGHT &
 EXPOSURE. PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT FOR THE
 BUILDING.
  
 2) THE CUT SECTION OF WALL DOES NOT GIVE THE TYPE OF
 STRUCTURE/ MATERIALS THIS DESIGN IS TO BE INSTALLED/
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) THE CUT SECTION FOR THE LETTERS DOES NOT INDICATE
 WHAT MATERIAL THE ANCHORING STUD IS, HOW THE ANCHORING
 STUD IS ATTACHED TO THE PVC LETTERS, THE DIAMETER OF
 THE MATERIAL AND HOW MANY ANCHORS ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH
 LETTER. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 4) THE CUT SECTION FOR THE LETTERS DOES NOT INDICATE
 WHAT MATERIAL THE RECTANGLE IS AROUND THE LETTERS, ,
 HOW THE ANCHORING STUD IS ATTACHED TO THE PVC RECTANGLE
 SURROUND, THE DIAMETER OF THE MATERIAL AND HOW MANY
 ANCHORS ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH LETTER. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) THE APPLICATION WILL NEED TO BE AMENDED SINCE THE
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK STILL STATES A HAND PAINTED SIGN.
 105.1 PERMIT AND REQUIRED INFORMATION.
  
 6) THE ORIGINAL VALUE OF THE HAND PAINTED SIGN WAS
 $1,500.00 IN VALUE. THE CONTRACTOR WILL ALSO NEED TO
 AMEND THE VALUE, THERE IS A DEFINITE INCREASE IN THE
 VALUE OF THE PERMIT.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE UNDER
 ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS
 AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL,
 PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISHES, NORMAL SITE
 WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR BUILDINGS),
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COST, OVERHEAD
 AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE. VALUATION
 REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED DATA OF
 NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
