 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE, LEVEL II ALTERATION. PLEASE
 BE AWARE THE CITY HAS NEVER RECORDED A CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY FOR THIS UNIT. A PERMIT WAS ISSUED IN 2008
 BUT NO INSPECTIONS WERE EVER SCHEDULED, THE PERMIT
 EXPIRED. THIS APPLIED FOR PERMIT APPLICATION IS STILL
 CONSIDERED NEW WORK UNDER THE 2014 FBC-B FOR NEW WORK!
 THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SHOULD NOT BE
 REFERENCED SINCE THIS UNIT HAS NEVER HAD A CERTIFICATE
 OF OCCUPANCY ISSUED.
  
 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014 WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1,
 ADMINISTRATION 111.1 USE AND OCCUPANCY. NO BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE SHALL BE USED OR OCCUPIED, AND NO CHANGE IN
 THE EXISTING OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE OR PORTION THEREOF SHALL BE MADE, UNTIL THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL HAS ISSUED A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
 THEREFORE AS PROVIDED HEREIN. ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE
 OF OCCUPANCY SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS AN APPROVAL OF A
 VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE OR OF OTHER
 ORDINANCES OF THE JURISDICTION. SAID CERTIFICATE SHALL
 NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL REQUIRED ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS HAVE
 BEEN INSPECTED FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES AND OTHER
 APPLICABLE LAWS AND ORDINANCES AND RELEASED BY THE
