 IS A GENERAL NOTE STATING "THIS PLANS COMPLY WITH THE
 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE & FAIR HOUSING ACT" (SIC).
  
 IT IS NOT CLEAR WHAT THAT MEANS. THE FBC IS A MINIMUM
 CODE, DESIGNER/OWNER/APPLICANT CAN ELECT TO EXCEED THE
 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE. WHEN
 DESIGNER DECLARES THAT HE/SHE IS EXCEEDING CODE VIA THE
 PERMIT DOCUMENTS, THE DESIGN CRITERIA DECLARED BY THE
 DESIGNER IS ENFORCED.
  
 DOES APPLICANT WISH FOR FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE TO
 BE APPLIED TO THIS PERMIT? NOTE THAT VERTICAL

 TO SHOW THE 1 HOUR (MINIMUM) FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY.

 SHEETS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE; ACTUAL TEST REPORTS ARE
 REVIEWED. IT IS LIKELY THAT THE MANUFACTURER WILL BE
 REQUIRED TO DO A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AS IT IS UNLIKELY
 THAT THE UNDERLAYMENT WAS TESTED WITH HOLLOW CORE (MOST
 TESTS ARE DONE WITH A CONCRETE SLAB).

 UNDERLAYMENT REQUIREMENT, IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU DO NOT
 SPEC A PRODUCT.
