 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE/2014 DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS
 SHALL CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR
 OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE
 QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL
 CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE SPECIFIC TO THE
 TECHNICAL CODES "SHALL NOT BE CITED AS A WHOLE OR IN
 PART, NOR THE TERM "LEGAL" OR ITS EQUIVALENT BE USED AS

 AND ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2014
 FBC-B 1405.13.1 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL
 BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S
 INSTRUCTIONS. FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN SUCH INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED
 BASED ON MAXIMUM LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 2) THERE ARE UNITS WHERE THE BATHROOM FLOORING TILE IS
 BEING REMOVED, 9 OF THE 10 DORMS, 310, 311, 312, 407,
 410, 411, 412, 507 & 508. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 FOR TILE, STONE, MARBLE AND WOOD FLOORING ALL NEED TO
 HAVE HAD THE SOUND UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR ASSEMBLIES
 TO THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS
 LISTED UNDER EACH OF THE STANDARDS FOR A 6 INCH
 CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/ NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE TEST REPORTS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2A) FBC-B 2014 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
  
 2B) FBC-B 2014 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 2C) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2014 603.1. EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 3) FOR ALL OF THE UNITS DEMOLITION NOTE # 1 INDICATES
 THE REMOVAL OF THE DRYWALL AND INSULATION ON ALL OF THE
 EXTERIOR WALLS. THERE ARE ALSO NOTES FOR NEW TRANE FAN
 COIL UNITS. IN THIS SUBMISSION THERE HAS BEEN NO
 DOCUMENTATION TO THE 2014 ENERGY CODE.
 C401.2 APPLICATION. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 3.1. THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1.
 3.2. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402, C403, C404 AND
 C405. IN ADDITION, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH EITHER SECTION C406.2, C406.3 OR C406.4.
 3.3. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION C407, C402.4, C403.2,
 C404, C405.2, C405.3, C405.4, C405.6 AND C405.7. THE
 BUILDING ENERGY COST SHALL BE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN 85
 PERCENT OF THE STANDARD REFERENCE DESIGN BUILDING.
  
 4) SHEET A-5 SHOWS THIS DORMITORY AS THE ACCESSIBLE
 UNIT. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD SHOWS ON THE PLANS THE USE
 OF AN ELECTRONIC DOOR OPENER TO GAIN ACCESS INTO THE
 ACCESSIBLE DORM. THE QUESTION IS HOW TO MAKE THE
 BATHROOM A FULLY ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM AND OR STALL? THE
 PLANS SHOW A CODE COMPLIANT SHOW A COMPLIANT TRANSFER
 SHOWER, LAVATORY AND MIRROR BUT NOT WATER CLOSET. 604.8

 5) PLEASE PROVIDE WHERE CODE COMPLIANCE CAN BE FOUND
 FOR THE 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE ) FBC-ACCESS. CODE 224.4
 GUEST ROOMS WITH COMMUNICATION FEATURES. IN TRANSIENT
 LODGING FACILITIES, GUEST ROOMS WITH COMMUNICATION
 FEATURES COMPLYING WITH 806.3 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE 224.4.
  
 6) ) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
