 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) NOTE: 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. IN THE AREA OF
 THE ELEVATOR LOBBY, UNDER THE 2014 FBC-B 713.14.1
 ELEVATOR LOBBIES SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEANS OF
 EGRESS COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 10 AND OTHER PROVISIONS
 WITHIN THIS CODE. THIS APPLIES TO HIGHRISE BUILDINGS
 SINCE EXCEPTION 4.3 DEALS WITH ELEVATORS SERVING FLOOR
 LEVELS OVER 75 FEET (22 860 MM) ABOVE THE LOWEST LEVEL
 OF FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE ACCESS IN HIGH-RISE
 BUILDINGS. THE 2012 IBC CODE COMMENTARY ALSO REFLECTS
 THE SAME WORDING. THE FIRE CODES MAY HAVE A MORE
 RESTRICTIVE REQUIREMENT IF SO THEN THE MORE STRINGENT
 OF THE 2 CODES APPLIES.
 2) SHEET A1.11 SHOWS A HORIZONTAL DOOR IDENTIFIED AS #
 30. THE DOOR SCHEDULE INDICATES HARDWARE TYPE 1.
 THE DOOR HARDWARE SCHEDULE IS BLANK. 2014 ACCESS. CODE
 404.2.7 DOOR AND GATE HARDWARE.
 HANDLES, PULLS, LATCHES, LOCKS, AND OTHER OPERABLE
 PARTS ON DOORS AND GATES SHALL COMPLY WITH 309.4.
 OPERABLE PARTS OF SUCH HARDWARE SHALL BE 34 INCHES (865
 MM) MINIMUM AND 48 INCHES (1220 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE
 FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND. WHERE SLIDING DOORS ARE IN THE
 FULLY OPEN POSITION, OPERATING HARDWARE SHALL BE
 EXPOSED AND USABLE FROM BOTH SIDES.
  
 3) SHEET A1.11 SHOWS BOOTH SEATING (725). SHEET A4.21
 DETAIL 7 SHOWS THE BOOTH AS RAISED SEATING OFF THE
 FLOOR 8.5 INCHES. PLEASE SHOW WHERE THE EQUIVALENT
 SEATING FOR HANDICAPPED WILL BE? 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE
 103 EQUIVALENT FACILITATION. 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF
 DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES
 MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
  
 4) SHEET A4.23 THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN DETAILS 1,2, & 3
 SHOW A ACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN. TO THE RIGHT SIDE
 OF THE DRINKING FOUNTAINS THERE IS A WALL PARALLEL TO
 THE DRINKING FOUNTAINS. THIS WALL PROTECTS OCCUPANTS
 WITH LOW VISION FROM RUNNING INTO THE DRINKING
 FOUNTAIN. THE RIGHT SIDE DRINKING FOUNTAIN IS ALSO NOT
 MORE THAN 27 INCHES COMPLYING WITH THE REQUIREMENT FOR
 PROTRUDING OBJECTS.
 ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN FOR STANDING
 PEOPLE DOES NOT COMPLY WITH PROTRUDING OBJECTS 2014
 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 307.2.
  
 5) SHEET A4.23 THE RECEPTION DESK DOES NOT INDICATE
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 ACCESS. CODE 904.3.3 CHECK WRITING
 SURFACES. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK WRITING SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.3.
 6) SHEET M2.1 SHOWS A DUCT FOR THE O/A PENETRATING THE
 FIRE RATED ELEVATOR LOBBY WALL. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 713.14.1. SECTION 716.5.3 AS REQUIRED FOR CORRIDOR
 WALLS AND PENETRATIONS OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY ENCLOSURE
 BY DUCTS AND AIR TRANSFER OPENINGS SHALL BE PROTECTED
 AS REQUIRED FOR CORRIDORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 717.5.4.1.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
