 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) THE SUBMITTED PLANS ARE NOT DRAFTSMAN QUALITY SET
 OF PLANS. THERE IS NO EXISTING PLAN AND PROPOSED SCOPE
 OF WORK FLOOR PLAN SHOWING WORK TO SCALE TO DETERMINE
 CODE COMPLIANCE IN MANY INSTANCES.
 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014 WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1,
 ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.4 QUALITY OF BUILDING PLANS.
 BUILDING PLANS SHALL BE DRAWN TO A MINIMUM 1/8 INCH
 SCALE UPON SUBSTANTIAL PAPER, CLOTH OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE
 MEDIUM. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY ESTABLISH THROUGH
 DEPARTMENTAL POLICY, OTHER STANDARDS FOR PLANS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CONFORMITY TO ITS
 RECORD RETENTION PROGRAM. THIS POLICY MAY INCLUDE SUCH
 THINGS AS MINIMUM SIZE, SHAPE, CONTRAST, CLARITY, OR
 OTHER ITEMS RELATED TO RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
  
 1B) THE FLOOR PLAN NO-ONE HAS TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR
 THE DRAFTING UP THE PLAN. THE QUALIFIER OF GEN-X
 CONSTRUCTION MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DRAWING
 (FLOOR PLAN FOR BUILDING REVIEW) AND MUST PRINT HIS
 NAME, SIGN HIS NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER AS THE AUTHOR OF
 THIS DOCUMENT. 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014 WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION
 ALL INFORMATION, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
 ACCOMPANYING DATA SHALL BEAR THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF
 THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN. (SEE ALSO
 SECTION 107.3.5).

 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1,
 ADMINISTRATION 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR
 BUILDINGS
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 107.3.5.1.1 BUILDING
 OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 3. MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED
 (SEE TABLE 503).
 4. FIRE-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS SHALL
 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
 FIRE-RESISTANT SEPARATIONS
 FIRE-RESISTANT PROTECTION FOR TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION
 PROTECTION OF OPENINGS AND PENETRATIONS OF RATED WALLS
 5. FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS SHALL INCLUDE: SCHEMATIC
 FIRE SPRINKLERS BUILDING FIRE SPRINKLERED OR NOT?
 6. LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS SHALL BE DETERMINED AND SHALL
 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: OCCUPANT LOAD AND
 EGRESS CAPACITIES
 7. OCCUPANCY LOAD/EGRESS REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE:

 1D) A HAND WRITTEN SCOPE OF WORK OVER ? OF IT IS

 2) THE LAST PERMIT ISSUED FOR THIS TENANT SPACE (UNIT #
 5) IS 09110083. SINCE THEN THIS CONTRACTOR TAKES ON ANY
 CHANGES TO THE LATEST REVISION ( 10050688), RATED
 TENANT SEPARATION WALLS HAVE BEEN MOVED IN THE
 RECEPTION AREA OF SUITE # 5. EXAM ROOM WALLS HAVE BEEN
 MOVED AS WELL AS THE RESTROOM LOCATION & SIZES.
 2014 FBC-B 708.3 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING. FIRE
 PARTITIONS SHALL HAVE A FIRE RESISTANCE RATING OF NOT
 LESS THAN 1 HOUR.
 708.4 CONTINUITY. FIRE PARTITIONS SHALL EXTEND FROM THE
 TOP OF THE FOUNDATION OR FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY BELOW
 TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF SHEATHING, SLAB
 OR DECK ABOVE OR TO THE FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED
 FLOOR/CEILING OR ROOF/CEILING ASSEMBLY ABOVE, AND SHALL
 BE SECURELY ATTACHED THERETO. IN COMBUSTIBLE
 CONSTRUCTION WHERE THE FIRE PARTITIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED
 TO BE CONTINUOUS TO THE SHEATHING, DECK OR SLAB, THE
 SPACE BETWEEN THE CEILING AND THE SHEATHING, DECK OR
 SLAB ABOVE SHALL BE FIREBLOCKED OR DRAFTSTOPPED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 718.2 AND 718.3 AT THE
 PARTITION LINE.
  
 3A) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY. WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS
 NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED
 AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST
 OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION, THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE
 MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE
 ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN
 CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY
 SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE
 GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM
 FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX RESTROOM; (IV)
 ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 3B) 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 4) THE VALUE FOR THE SCOPE OF WORK, AND ACTUAL DEPICTED
 SCOPE OF WORK INDICATED IN THE SUBMITTED PLAN VERSES
 THE LAST KNOWN PERMIT DRAWNINGS WILL INCREASE THE VALUE
 FROM THE STATED VALUE. 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL,
 THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION,
 STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING
 SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE
 APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
