 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVERSHEET, ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS AND SHEET S1
 ALL INDICATE THE VULT WIND ZONE IS 160 MPH FOR A
 BUILDING WITH A RISK CATEGORY II. PLEASE NOTE THE 2014
 FBC-B FIGURE 1609A PLACES US IN THE 170 MPH VULT WIND
 ZONE. NOTE # 2 DOES ALLOW FOR LINEAR INTERPOLATION
 BETWEEN CONTOURS IS PERMITTED. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE
 PRESSURES ON SHEET S-1 WILL INCREASE FOR ALL ZONES.
  
 2) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT ARE INCORPORATED IN THE
 PLANS:
 PGT 1-4 FL331.3 FRENCH DOORS FD-555
 TT 1-2 FL10537.1 THERMA TRU SINGLE IMPACT DOORS
 YKK 1-4 FL16314.2 FIXED WINDOWS YOW225 TUH
 NONE OF THESE APPROVALS IDENTIFY GLAZING, MULLIONS.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF
 GLAZING, MULLION INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS
 AND ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2014
 FBC-B 1405.13.1 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL
 BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S
 INSTRUCTIONS. FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN SUCH INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED
 BASED ON MAXIMUM LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 3) SHEET A-1 SHOWS THE NEW ELEVATOR SHAFT WALLS AND AN
 EXISTING STAIRWELL ADJACENT TO THE ELEVATOR. THE
 STAIRWELL SHOWS A NEW ROOM WITHIN THE STAIRWELL. FBC-B
 1022.4 OPENINGS. INTERIOR EXIT STAIRWAY AND RAMP
 OPENING PROTECTIVES SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 716. OPENINGS IN INTERIOR EXIT
 STAIRWAYS AND RAMPS OTHER THAN UNPROTECTED EXTERIOR
 OPENINGS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THOSE NECESSARY FOR EXIT
 ACCESS TO THE ENCLOSURE FROM NORMALLY OCCUPIED SPACES
 AND FOR EGRESS FROM THE ENCLOSURE.
  
 4) SHEET A1 SHOWS THE NEW LULA-ELEVATOR PLEASE PROVIDE
 THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATION FOR COMPLIANCE WITH:
 WITH 408.1-4.8 ACCESSIBILITY CODE AND WITH ASME A17.1.
  
 5) BUILDING PROVISO: SHEET A11 SHOWS WELDED CONNECTIONS
 BETWEEN THE STEEL POST AND OVERHEAD STEEL BEAMS W12X35
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 WELDED OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS
 THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE
 SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION.

 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
