 MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1)
 SHEET CS - THERE IS AN INCORRECT REFERENCE TO THE
 CURRENT FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE.
  
 THE PROPOSED PROJECT SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 5TH EDITION OF FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE INCLUDING
 THE 2012 EDITION OF NFPA 1 AND NFPA 101 AND ALL OTHER
 APPLICABLE CODES OR STANDARDS.
 FIRE SPRINKLER WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF NFPA 13, 2010 EDITION.
 FIRE ALARM WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 NFPA 72, 2010 EDITION.
 CONSTRUCTION WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 NFPA 241, 2009 EDITION.
  
  
 PLEASE ENSURE THE PROJECT MEETS THE ABOVE REQUIRMENTS
 AND CORRECT THE THE REFENCES.

 SHEET CS - THERE IS AN INDICATION OF MIXED USE;
 HOWEVER, WHAT IS THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, MIXED OR
 SEPARATED OCCUPANCY AND WHICH IS THE MOST STRINGENT YOU
 ARE COMPLYING WITH?
  
 6.1.14 MULTIPLE OCCUPANCIES.
 6.1.14.1 GENERAL.
 6.1.14.1.1 MULTIPLE OCCUPANCIES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF 6.1.14.1 AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 (1) MIXED OCCUPANCIES ? 6.1.14.3
 (2) SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES ? 6.1.14.4
 6.1.14.1.2 WHERE EXIT ACCESS FROM AN OCCUPANCY
 TRAVERSES ANOTHER OCCUPANCY, THE MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY
 SHALL BE TREATED AS A MIXED OCCUPANCY.
  
 6.1.14.2.2 MIXED OCCUPANCY. A MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY WHERE
 THE OCCUPANCIES ARE INTERMINGLED.
  
 6.1.14.3 MIXED OCCUPANCIES.
 6.1.14.3.1 EACH PORTION OF THE BUILDING SHALL BE
 CLASSIFIED AS TO ITS USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 6.1
 6.1.14.3.2* THE BUILDING SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MOST
 RESTRICTIVE REQUIREMENTS OF THE OCCUPANCIES INVOLVED,
 UNLESS SEPARATE SAFEGUARDS ARE APPROVED.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE SPECIFIC DETAIL.
  
  
  
  
 3)
 BASED ON THE ABOVE MIXED OCCUPANCY, EXIT SEPARATION
 SHALL BE PER NFPA 101, CHAPTER 7, MEANS OF EGRESS. THE
 SEPARATION DISTANCE IS NOT INDICATED.
  
 7.5.1.3.3 IN BUILDINGS PROTECTED THROUGHOUT BY AN
 APPROVED, SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 9.7, THE MINIMUM SEPARATION
 DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO EXITS, EXIT ACCESSES, OR EXIT
 DISCHARGES, MEASURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 7.5.1.3.2,
 SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN ONE-THIRD THE LENGTH OF THE
 MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR
 AREA TO BE SERVED.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW UNDER THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 DETERMINED ABOVE AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE OR CORRECT.
  
 THE CORRIDOR LEADS TO A CONTRACTOR AREA.
  
 7.5.1.2 CORRIDORS SHALL PROVIDE EXIT ACCESS WITHOUT
 PASSING THROUGH ANY INTERVENING ROOMS OTHER THAN
 CORRIDORS, LOBBIES, AND OTHER SPACES PERMITTED TO BE
 OPEN TO THE CORRIDOR, UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN
 7.5.1.2.1 AND 7.5.1.2.2.
 7.5.1.2.1 APPROVED EXISTING CORRIDORS THAT REQUIRE
 PASSAGE THROUGH A ROOM TO ACCESS AN EXIT SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO CONTINUE TO BE USED, PROVIDED THAT ALL OF
 THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA ARE MET:
 (1) THE PATH OF TRAVEL IS MARKED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 7.10.
 (2) DOORS TO SUCH ROOMS COMPLY WITH 7.2.1.
 (3) SUCH ARRANGEMENT IS NOT PROHIBITED BY THE
 APPLICABLE OCCUPANCY CHAPTER.
  
 PLEASE ENSURE THE OCCUPANCY CHAPTER DETERMINED BY # 2
 ABOVE ALLOWS THIS TYPE OF CORRIDOR USE.
  
  
 4)
 SHEET 6.0 - THE DOOR SCHEDULE INDICATES TYPE B FOR THE
 DOORS 107 & 114 IN THE RATED WALLS. TYPE B DOORS
 INDICATE WINDOWS.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE MANUFACTURES SPEC SHEETS THAT THE GLASS
 MEETS THE RATED DOOR REQUIRERMENTS AND/OR PROVIDE AN
 APLLICABLE NOTE OF COMPLIANCE.
  
  
  
 5)
 SHEET A 1.1 - RACKS ARE INDICATED WITH RACKS ABOVE 12'.
  
 A SEPARATE PERMIT UNDER SEPARATE SHOP DRAWINGS IS
 REQUIRED FOR RACK STROAGE. PLEASE PROVIDE THE HAZARD
 CLASSIFICATION OF THE STORAGE MATERILAS, INCLUDING
 PALLETS, PACKAGING, SHRINK WRAP, ETC.
  
 THE EXISTING SPRINKLER SYSTEM MAY REQUIRE SIGNIFICANT
 UPGRADES TO MEET THE SIZE AND AMOUNT OF THE COMMODITY.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN APPLICABLE NOTE INTENDING TO COMPLY
 WITH HIGH-PILED COMBUSTIBLE STORAGE, NFPA 230 AND NFPA
 13..
  
  
  
 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PROVIDE PLAN SHEET
 REVISION CLOUDS OR NUMBERED NARRATIVE RESPONSES TO THE
