 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 EXPOSURES. THE EAST IS THE LARGE PARKING LOT AND THE
 WEST THE BACK PARKING LOT, RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND

 SURFACE ROUGHNESS C. OPEN TERRAIN WITH SCATTERED
 OBSTRUCTIONS HAVING HEIGHTS GENERALLY LESS THAN 30 FEET
 (9144 MM). THIS CATEGORY INCLUDES FLAT OPEN COUNTRY,
 AND GRASSLANDS. THIS SURFACE ROUGHNESS SHALL ALSO APPLY
 TO ANY BUILDING LOCATED WITHIN SURFACE ROUGHNESS B TYPE
 TERRAIN WHERE THE BUILDING IS WITHIN 100 FEET (30 M)
 HORIZONTALLY IN ANY DIRECTION OF OPEN AREAS OF SURFACE
 ROUGHNESS C OR D-TYPE TERRAIN THAT EXTENDS MORE THAN
 600 FEET (182.9 M) IN THE UPWIND DIRECTION AND A WIDTH
 GREATER THAN 150 FEET (46 M).
  
 DEFINITIONS: MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. THE AVERAGE OF THE ROOF
 EAVE HEIGHT AND THE HEIGHT TO THE HIGHEST POINT ON THE
 ROOF SURFACE, EXCEPT THAT EAVE HEIGHT SHALL BE USED FOR
 ROOF ANGLE OF LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 10 DEGREES.

 SHEET BOTH SHOW UNDER THE HEADING LIFE SAFETY DATA SHOW
 THE EMPLOYEE LOUNGE WITH 203 SQUARE FEET / 50 SQ. FT.
 PER PERSON = 5 OCCUPANTS. A LOUNGE IS CLOSER TO A A2
 OCCUPANCY WHERE THE OCCUPANCY IS FIGURED AT 15 SQ. FT./
 OCCUPANT OR 14 OCCUPANTS.
  
 1C) PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE OCCUPANT LOAD IN THE
 LOUNGE PUTS THE TOTAL COUNT AT 512 OCCUPANTS. THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD OF 503 INDICATES THE REQUIRED WIDTH OF
 100.6 INCHES. THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF EGRESS WIDTH
 INDICATES 224 INCHES. THERE ARE MANY EMERGENCIES WHERE
 THERE IS NO LOSS OF POWER AND THE AUTOMATIC HORIZONTAL
 DOORS ARE STILL ACTIVE. WHEN THE ACTIVE DOOR IS
 AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED IT WILL BLOKE THE BREAK AWAY
 DOOR IMPEDING THE EXITING CAPACITY TO ONLY ALLOW FOR 34

 LOAD COUNT ALSO INDICATES THE USE OF VESTIBULE 1 & 2,
 NOT SHOWN ON PLANS?
 ALSO REVIEW FBC-B 1005.3.2 OTHER EGRESS COMPONENTS AND
 EXCEPTION. 903.3.1.1 AND AN EMERGENCY VOICE/ ALARM
 COMMUNICATION SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 907.5.2.2.
  
 1D) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET SHOW THE EGRESS AISLES MARKED
 OUT WITH THE EXCEPTION TO THE REAR EXIT DOOR. FBC-B
 1017.3 AISLES IN GROUPS B AND M.
 IN GROUP B AND M OCCUPANCIES, THE MINIMUM CLEAR AISLE
 WIDTH SHALL BE DETERMINED BY SECTION 1005.1 FOR THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD SERVED, BUT SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 36
 INCHES.
  
 2) SHEET A-2.1 SHOWS THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA AGAIN AS
 A B EXPOSURE, SEE COMMENT ABOVE PLEASE CORRECT.
 PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF THE
 BUILDING, WITH THE BUILDING BEING LOCATED IN A C
 EXPOSURE, THERE WILL BE MULTIPLIERS FOR THE C EXPOSURE
 AND FOR THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING. A HEIGHT AND
 EXPOSURE ADJUSTMENT COEFFICIENT, * SHALL BE DETERMINED
 FROM TABLE 1609.7.2. ASCE 7-10.
  
 3) SHEET A-2.1 SHOWS A PRESSURE SCHEDULE FOR ZONES
 1,2,3,4 & 5. PLEASE NOTE FOR THE ROOF ZONES THE CHART

 PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE

 MORE SHALL NOT BE PROVIDED WITH A LATCH OR LOCK UNLESS
 IT IS PANIC HARDWARE OR FIRE EXIT HARDWARE.

 TRANSOM ABOVE. SHEET A-8.3 DETAIL # 3 ALSO INDICATES

 PLEASE PROVIDE IF THIS IS A 3 COAT CEMENT PLASTER
 (STUCCO) OR IF THIS IS GOING TO BE EFIS SYSTEMS?

 FEET IN ELEVATION. IT APPEARS THAT NEW EFIS TRIM WILL
 BE USED ON THE NEW ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. ALSO SEE FBC-B
 1406.2.1 TYPE I, II, III AND IV CONSTRUCTION. ON
 BUILDINGS OF TYPE I, II, III AND IV CONSTRUCTION,
 EXTERIOR WALL COVERINGS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE
 CONSTRUCTED OF COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, COMPLYING WITH

 THIS STAIRWAY WAS LEADING TO, IT APPEARS THIS IS THE
 MEANS OF EGRESS TO THE ROOF TOP ROOM WHICH RTU IS
 LOCATED? ALL OF THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF
 WILL NEED ACCESS SINCE IT IS LOCATED HIGHER THAN 16
 FEET FROM GRADE.
 FBC-B 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR
 ELEVATED STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES
 REQUIRING ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES AT A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET SUCH ACCESS
 SHALL BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF
 ACCESS, THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR
 FLOOR LEVEL TO THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL
 SERVICE SPACE. SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING
