 1) THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DIVISION
 REQUIRES SEPARATE PERMITS FOR KITCHEN EXHAUST HOODS,
 FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS, FIRE SPRINKLERS, AND WALK-IN
 COOLERS AND FREEZERS- PLACE A NOTE ON THE PLANS
 ACCORDINGLY. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO DETAILS OR
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DISHWASHER HOOD HAVE BEEN
 PROVIDED.
  
 2) SHEET M201: THE MAKEUP AIR DUCT FOR THE KITCHEN
 HOODS IS PROHIBITED FROM BEING IN THE SAME RATED SHAFT
 ENCLOSURE WITH THE GREASE EXHAUST DUCT- SECTION
 506.3.11. OPTIONS- REMOVE THE MAKEUP AIR DUCT, OR
 INDICATE THE GREASE DUCT IS TO BE WRAPPED WITH APPROVED
 LISTED AND LABELED DUCT WRAP PER SECTION 506.3.11.2.
  
 3) ADVISORIES- KITCHEN AND EXHAUST HOODS:
  
 A) AN 18" CLEARANCE TO COMBUSTIBLES IS REQUIRED FOR THE
 GREASE EXHAUST DUCTS- SEE SECTIONS 506.3.6, 506.3.11,
 506.3.11.1, & 506.3.11.2. IF A DUCT WRAP IS TO BE
 INSTALLED, MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED PER SECTION 506.3.11.2, AND THE GREASE DUCT
 PENETRATIONS INTO AND OUT OF THE RATED SHAFTS SHALL BE
 PROTECTED WITH A THROUGH-PENETRATION FIRE-STOP SYSTEM
 CLASSIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 814 OR UL 1497.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR THE FIRE
 DAMPERS TO BE INSTALLED IN THE GREASE DUCTS AT THE
 SHAFT PENETRATIONS.
  
 B) PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL
 BETWEEN MAKE-UP AIR FOR THE KITCHEN EXHAUST AND THE AIR
 IN THE CONDITIONED SPACE SHALL NOT EXCEED 10 DEGREES F
 PER SECTION 508.1.1. MEETING THIS COMPLIANCE MAY
 REQUIRE PRE-COOLING OF THE MAKE-UP AIR USING AN AC UNIT
  
 C) THE NOA'S FOR THE ROOFTOP FANS MUST BE SUBMITTED
 WITH SHOP DRAWING APPROVAL STAMPS AND SIGNATURES BY THE
 ENGIEER OF RECORD. THE EOR MUST ALSO CIRCLE, HIGHLIGHT,
 OR OTHERWISE MARK ALL APPLICABLE INSTALLATION NOTES,
 DETAILS, DESIGN PRESSURES, AND ANCHORING METHODS ON THE
 DOCUMENTS.
  
 4) SHEETS M201 & A0.7: THE PLANS ARE CONFLICTING
 CONCERNING THE HOURLY FIRE-RATINGS OF THE SHAFTS.
  
 5) SHEET M201: INDICATE THE REQUIRED CLEARANCE DISTANCE
 MEASUREMENTS FOR THE O/A INTAKE LOCATIONS AS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 401.4.
  
 6) M201: SHOW THE TERMINATION LOCATION OF THE
 DISHWASHER HOOD EXHAUST DUCT.
  
 7) M201: REFER TO SECTION 304 FLORIDA FUEL GAS CODE AND
 PROVIDE COMBUSTION AIR CALCULATIONS FOR THE PIZZA
 OVENS, THE KITCHEN COOKING APPLIANCES, AND THE GAS
 WATER HEATER.
  
 8) PROVIDE AN EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE GAS WATER
 HEATER AND MODIFY THE DETAIL ON M101 TO INDICATE THE
 TYPE AND SIZE OF GAS VENT AND TOTAL RUN FROM THE WH TO
 THE TERMINATION CAP.
  
 9) M201: INDICATE HOW ACCESS FOR MAINTENANCE AND
 REPLACEMENT OF THE AIR HANDLERS IN THE SOFFIT WILL BE
 PROVIDED- SEE SECTION 306.1.
  
 10) M201: PROVIDE CONDENSATE DISPOSAL PLANS FOR THE
 AHU'S- SECTION 307.
  
 11) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PIZZA
 OVENS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED EXHAUST HOODS AND VENTS. SEE
 COMMENT #2B ABOVE- FIRE DAMPERS MAY NOT BE REQUIRED FOR
 THE EXHAUST DUCT PENETRATING THE SHAFT ENCLOSURE.
  
 12) WIND LOAD ENGINEERING IS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
 OF ALL THE ROOF TOP MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT PER SECTION
 301.15. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS FOR ANCHORING
 THE UNITS TO THE ROOF STRUCTURE.
  
 13) PLEASE REVIEW CHAPTER 10 OF THE FBC-14 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE- THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY AND SHOULD BE NOTED AS SUCH UNDER THE
 BUILDING CODE DATA ON SHEET A0.1.
  
 14) PLEASE REVIEW SECTION C101.4.4 AND SECTION C401.2
 FBC-14 ENERGY CONSERVATION AND PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF
 ENERGY CONSERVATION COMPLIANCE. THE SUBMITTED ENERGY
 FORM C402-2014 IS FOR RENOVATED BUILDINGS, AND CANNOT
 BE USED FOR BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
