 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEETS A-101D & A-106D THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHOWS
 THE 1ST FLOOR AS A MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY OF
 APPROXIMATELY 3,598 SQUARE FEET / 30 SQ. FT. PER
 OCCUPANT = 117 THE OCCUPANT LOAD. WITH THE BREAK OUT
 AREA OF THE KITCHEN AND COFFEE BAR AREA THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD IS REDUCED DRAMATICALLY BUT STILL OVER 50
 OCCUPANTS.
 THE PAIR OF DOORS THAT FACE DIXIE HWY WILL NEED TO BE A
 PAIR OF OUTSWING DOORS BUT NOT CROSS OVER THE PROPERTY
 LINE. THIS SPACE WAS BROKEN UP INTO 3 TENANT SPACES
 WHERE THE OCCUPANT LOAD WAS NOT AS HIGH.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1008.1.2 DOOR SWING. (9) DOORS SHALL SWING
 IN THE DIRECTION OF EGRESS TRAVEL WHERE SERVING A ROOM
 OR AREA CONTAINING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE
 PERSONS.
  
 2014 FBC-B 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8
 FEET IN HEIGHT. DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL NOT OPEN OR
 PROJECT INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 2) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN A-106D SHOWS AN OUTSIDE AREA A
 DINING GARDEN WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 28 OCCUPANTS.

 SHOWN ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN PLEASE SHOW THE SEATING
 ARRANGEMENT FOR MEANS OF EGRESS SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 FBC-B 1017.5 AISLES IN OTHER THAN ASSEMBLY SPACES AND
 GROUPS B AND M. PLEASE NOTE WHEN THE OCCUPANT LOADS FOR
 DINING MAY BE A A2 USAGE THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS

 REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN 7 INCHES (178 MM). DOORS IN
 ANY POSITION SHALL NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY
 MORE THAN ONE-HALF. WITH OCCUPANT LOADS OF 50 OR MORE

 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 105.1 A PERMIT
 IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN A-106D. FBC-B 1027.4.2
 CONSTRUCTION AND OPENINGS. WHERE AN EGRESS COURT
 SERVING A BUILDING OR PORTION THEREOF IS LESS THAN 10
 FEET (3048 MM) IN WIDTH, THE EGRESS COURT WALLS SHALL
 HAVE NOT LESS THAN 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED
 CONSTRUCTION FOR A DISTANCE OF 10 FEET (3048 MM) ABOVE
 THE FLOOR OF THE COURT. OPENINGS WITHIN SUCH WALLS
 SHALL BE PROTECTED BY OPENING PROTECTIVES HAVING A FIRE
 PROTECTION RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 3/4 HOUR.
  
 6) ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN A-106D. THE WAY THE 2ND
 STORY STAIRWELL APPEARS TO BE COMING OUT OF A 2 STORY
 TAYLOR SHOP AND EXITING THE STAIR ON A LANDING BETWEEN
 THE 2 BUILDING AND STILL TRAVELING DOWN 4 RISERS TO
 GRADE, WE KNOW THAT IS NOT THE INTENT BUT THE DEPICTION
 OF THE STAIRS SHOULD SHOW THE HIDDEN LINES OF THE 2ND
 STORY PORTION OF THE STAIR AND ENCLOSURE. 107.2.1.3
