 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) PLANS WERE BROUGHT IN AS A SUBMITTAL; THE SCREEN
 ENCLOSURE NEVER WAS SHOWN ON THE ORIGINAL PERMITTED SET
 OF DRAWINGS AND WILL REQUIRE A NEW PERMIT FOR EACH
 BUILDING. THERE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN VALUE DUE TO THE
 SCREEN ENCLOSURE BEING ADDED TO EACH UNIT THROUGHOUT
 THE WHOLE COMPLEX. THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE CAN BE MASTERED
 AS HAS BEEN THE CASE WITH THE PRODUCT APPROVALS AND
 VARIOUS SUBMITTALS.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. ALL OTHER PERMITS
 FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE ALARM, EXHAUST HOODS, ANSUL
 SYSTEMS OR ALTERNATIVE AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING
 SYSTEMS, WALK IN COOLERS & FREEZERS, ALL LOW VOLTAGE
 PERMITS, GENERATORS & FUEL TANKS, GAS PERMIT, POOL,
 JACUZZI AND ASSOCIATED SUB-PERMITS, AWNING, SCREEN
 ENCLOSURES, CANOPY, FENCE, LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AUGER
 CAST PILE AND OR FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURE ONLY PERMIT
 WILL BE SEPARATE REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES WITH EACH
 PERMIT.
  
 2) THE LAYOUT SHEET 2 OF 11 INDICATES DETAILS FOR
 FLOORS 2-4 OF SCREEN ENCLOSURE WITH THE REQUIRED GUARD
 RAIL SYSTEM. ON THE (1ST) FLOOR THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW A
 GUARDRAIL SYSTEM. A FORMER REVISION HAS REMOVED THE
 GUARDRAIL FORM ALL FIRST FLOOR UNITS.
 THE FIRST FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE ELEVATION OF THE SCREEN
 ENCLOSURE AND NO GUARDRAIL, NO NOTATION BELOW THE 3
 FOOT 6 INCH HORIZONTAL RAIL THAT THERE IS ANY OTHER
 MATERIAL OTHER THAN SCREENING MATERIAL.
  
 BUILDINGS 3, 4, 5 & 6 ALL SURROUND THE COMMUNITY POOL
 AND WILL NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 454.1.3.1.9 OF THE 2014 FBC-B SCREEN POOL ENCLOSURES
 MUST BE HARDENED ON THE BOTTOM 3 FEET OR BE SURROUNDED
 BY A MINIMUM 48 INCH HIGH FENCE OR OTHER SUBSTANTIAL
 BARRIER.
  
 3) FOR THE FIRST FLOOR FOR BUILDINGS 3, 4, 5 & 6 WILL
 REQUIRE A NEW ELEVATION SHOWING HOW THE VARIOUS 1ST
 FLOOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS MET THE REQUIREMENT OF FBC-B
 454.1.3.1.9 BY A 4 FOOT HIGH FENCE/ RAIL OR 3 FOOT HIGH
 HARDENED BOTTOM PANEL WITHIN THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
