 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) SHEET AE1, THE CLASSROOM ON THE 1ST FLOOR SHOWS A
 NEW 2 FOOT'-4 INCH DOOR LEADING FROM THE CLASSROOM INTO
 THE RESTROOM. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014
 FBC-B SECTION 1008.1.1 SIZE OF DOORS. THE MINIMUM WIDTH
 OF EACH DOOR OPENING SHALL BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD THEREOF AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH
 OF 32 INCHES. CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING
 DOORS SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE DOOR
 AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES.
  
 2) SHEET AE1, THE CLASSROOM ON THE 2ND FLOOR CLASSROMM
 3 AND THE NEW RESTROOM DOOR IS SHOWN AS A 2 FOOT 8 INCH
 DOOR. THIS DOOR DOES NOT COMPLY WITH 2014 FBC-B SECTION
 1008.1.1 SIZE OF DOORS. THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF EACH DOOR
 OPENING SHALL BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE OCCUPANT LOAD
 THEREOF AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES.
 CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE
 MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE DOOR AND THE STOP,

 TECHINGS DOES NOT NEED TO APPLY WITH THE FLORIDA
 ACCESSIBLITY CODE.

 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
