 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) SHEET S-1 DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. 107.2.1.3 ADDIONAL
 INFORMATION REQUIRED. 2014 FBC-B TABLE 603 RATINGS ON
 THE ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS. THE SHEET S-1 INDICATES THE
 TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION AS A BUILDING TYPE I-A REQUIRING 1
 1/2 HOUR FIRE RATING, THE SHEET S-1 INDICATES THE
 BUILDING IS FIRE SPRINKLERED, UNPROTECTED BOTH IA AND
 IB HAVE FIRE PROTECTED ROOF FRAMINF MEMBERS. UNDER THE
 HEADING OF CONSTRUCTION LISTED: 1 STORY CBS WITH METAL
 JOIST TYPE IIB NOT REQUIRING ANY FIRE PROTECTION ON THE
 ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS OR SECONDARY MEMBERS. PLEASE
 IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION AND CORRECT THE PLANS
 ACCORDINGLY.
  
 1B) SHEET S2 ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SHEET IS A NOTE;
 NEW ONE HOUR PARTY WALLS (BY OTHERS). ARE THESE NEW
 WALLS FURTHER SEPARATING THE BUILDING INTO SMALLER BUT
 MORE BUILDINGS? PARTY WALLS ARE FIRE WALLS. 706.1.1
 PARTY WALLS. ANY WALL LOCATED ON A LOT LINE BETWEEN
 ADJACENT BUILDINGS, WHICH IS USED OR ADAPTED FOR JOINT
 SERVICE BETWEEN THE TWO BUILDINGS, SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED
 AS A FIRE WALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 706. PARTY
 WALLS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED WITHOUT OPENINGS AND SHALL
 CREATE SEPARATE BUILDINGS.
 THESE WALLS WILL NEED TO BE PERMITEDAND COMPLETED
 BEFORE THE TENANT PERMITS CAN BE PERMITED AND
 CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION CAN OCCUR.
  
 2) DISCREPANCY IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE
 HEADING OF UNITS. THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES WORK
 TO BE ACCOMPLISHED IN UNITS 302-305. WHEREAS IN THE
 PLANS THERE ARE (2) UNITS BEING REMODELED, UNIT 302 &
 UNIT 305. THE REAL ISSUE IS SHEET S1 INDICATES THE
 OCCUPANCY TYPE AS BUSINESS. SHEET S2 IN UNIT 305
 INDICATES THE UNIT TO BE MERCANTILE( SALES FLOOR
 INDICATED ON PLANS). PLEASE CLARIFY THE TYPE OF USAGE
 AND OCCUPANCY FOR EACH TENANT SPACE.
 2014 FBC-B 302.1 CLASSIFICATION. A ROOM OR SPACE THAT
 IS INTENDED TO BE OCCUPIED AT DIFFERENT TIMES FOR
 DIFFERENT PURPOSES SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL OF THE
 REQUIREMENTS THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO EACH OF THE
 PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE ROOM OR SPACE WILL BE OCCUPIED.
 STRUCTURES WITH MULTIPLE OCCUPANCIES OR USES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 508.
  
 3) SHEET S-3 IS INDICATED THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN. THE
 LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHOULD HAVE ALL OF THE FURNITURE,
 KIOSK SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THE TRAVEL DISTANCES WILL
 CHANGE WHEN THERE IS A FURNITURE / KIOSK / RACKS/
 DISPLAYS AND SALE OF MERCHANDISE, STORAGE OF GOODS
 (STORAGE ROOMS SEPARATED OR NON SEPARATED).
 3A) MERCANTILE THE OCCUPANCY LOADS WILL BE DIFFERENT.

 3B) COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL FOR BUSINESS VS. MERCANTILE
 WILL BE DIFFERENT TABLE 1014.3.
 3C) RESTROOM FIXTURE COUNT WILL DIFFER FOR MERCANTILE
 VS. BUSINESS OCCUPANCY. 2014 FBC-P TABLE403.1.
  
 4) SHEET S-4 INDICATES (2) NEW DRESSING ROOMS,PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH;
 4A) THE PLANS FOR THE NEW DRESSING ROOMS PROVIDE NO
 DIMENSIONS FOR THE NEW WALL LAYOUT. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 4B) PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT THE DOOR SIZE IS FOR THE NEW
 USE OF THESE ROOMS AS DRESSING ROOMS:
 2014 FBC-B 1008.1.1 SIZE OF DOORS. THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF
 EACH DOOR OPENING SHALL BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD THEREOF AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32
 INCHES (813 MM). CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH
 SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF
 THE DOOR AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES.
 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE. ACCESS. CODE404.2.3 CLEAR WIDTH.
 DOOR OPENINGS SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES
 (815 MM) MINIMUM. CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH
 SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF
 THE DOOR AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES.
  
 4C) 803.1 DRESSING, FITTING, AND LOCKER ROOMS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 803.
 ADVISORY 803.1 GENERAL.
 PARTITIONS AND DOORS SHOULD BE DESIGNED TO ENSURE
 PEOPLE USING ACCESSIBLE DRESSING AND FITTING ROOMS
 PRIVACY EQUIVALENT TO THAT AFFORDED OTHER USERS OF THE
 FACILITY. SECTION 903.5 REQUIRES DRESSING ROOM BENCH
 SEATS TO BE INSTALLED SO THAT THEY ARE AT THE SAME
 HEIGHT AS A TYPICAL WHEELCHAIR SEAT, 17 INCHES (430 MM)
 TO 19 INCHES (485 MM). HOWEVER, WHEELCHAIR SEATS CAN BE
 LOWER THAN DRESSING ROOM BENCHES FOR PEOPLE OF SHORT
 STATURE OR CHILDREN USING WHEELCHAIRS.
  
 4D) ACCESS. CODE 803.2 TURNING SPACE. TURNING SPACE
 COMPLYING WITH 304 SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE ROOM.
  
 4E) ACCESS. CODE. 803.3 DOOR SWING. DOORS SHALL NOT
 SWING INTO THE ROOM UNLESS A CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305.3 IS PROVIDED BEYOND THE ARC
 OF THE DOOR SWING.
  
 4F) ACCESS. CPODE 803.4 BENCHES. A BENCH COMPLYING WITH
 903 SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE ROOM.
  
 4G) ACCESS. CODE 803.5 COAT HOOKS AND SHELVES. COAT
 HOOKS PROVIDED WITHIN THE ROOM SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN
 ONE OF THE REACH RANGES SPECIFIED IN 308. SHELVES SHALL
 BE 40 INCHES (1015 MM) MINIMUM AND 48 INCHES (1220 MM)
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
