 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A8 & M1.1. THE NEW DESIGN OF THE TENANT SPACE
 WILL REQUIRE REVISIONS TO THE PLANS FOR THE AIR
 HANDLIER LOCATION THAT SERVES THE CORRIDOR. THE
 MECHANICAL PLANS SHOW A HORIZONTAL UNIT WHERE THE OLD
 SET OF PLANS SHOWED A VERTICAL AIR HANDLER WITHIN A A/
 C CLOSET WITHIN THE CORRIDOR. THE NEW LOCATION SHOWS
 THE AIR HANDLIER OVER THE RESTROOM WITH A HARD CEILING
 WITH A 24X36 ACCESS PANEL OUTSIDE OF THE RESTROOM.
 PLEASESHOW A CUT SECTION ABOVE THE CEILING WHERE THE
 ACCESS PANEL IS TO WHERE THE CORRIDOR AIR HANDLER IS
 INSTALLED, PLEASE SHOW ALL DUCTS IN THE VACINITY,
 PLEASE ALSO NOT THEIR IS AN ELECTRICLA PANEL IN THE
 RESTROOM WALL THAT MAY HAVE CONDUITS IN CONFLICT WITH
 ACCES TO THIS UNIT.
 2014 FBC-B- 2801.1 MECHANICAL APPLIANCES, EQUIPMENT AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED, INSTALLED AND MAINTAINED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE &
 MECHANICAL CODE.
  
 2) SHEET M1.1 SHOWS NEW A/C CONDENSING UNITS INSTALLED
 ON A NEW ROOF TOP A/C STAND. PLEASE PROVIDE THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR THE STAND AND ANCHORING OF THE STAND AND
 OF THE A/C UNITS TO THE STAND. FOR ALL ROOF TOP
 EQUIPMENT, CURBS OR A/C STANDS, DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO
 THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL AS FROM THE CURB OR
 ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.

 2B) THE ROOF TOP PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR A/C STANDS WILL
 BE REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD
 BEFORE BEING SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
 EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL
 NEED TO IDENTIFY/ CIRCLE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA,
 CALCULATING THE AREA OF THE ROOF TOP COMPRESSORS, THE
 MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF THE STAND AND COMPRESSORS, WEIGHT,
 CIRCLED THE DESIGN PARAMETERS IN THE TABLES , ANCHORS
 AND UPLIFT VERSES MOMENT.
  
 2C) SHEET M1.1 INDICATES THE NEW A/ C COMPRESSORS AND
 STAND WILL BE ON A 3RD FLOOR ROOF. PLEASE PROVIDE
 COMPLIANCE WITH;
 1013.6 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT.
 GUARDS SHALL BE PROVIDED WHERE APPLIANCES, EQUIPMENT,
 FANS, ROOF HATCH OPENINGS OR OTHER COMPONENTS THAT
 REQUIRE SERVICE ARE LOCATED WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM) OF
 A ROOF EDGE OR OPEN SIDE OF A WALKING SURFACE AND SUCH
 EDGE OR OPEN SIDE IS LOCATED MORE THAN 30 INCHES (762
 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, ROOF OR GRADE BELOW. THE GUARD
 SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED SO AS TO PREVENT THE PASSAGE OF A
 SPHERE 21 INCHES (533 MM) IN DIAMETER. THE GUARD SHALL
 EXTEND NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) BEYOND EACH END
 OF SUCH APPLIANCE, EQUIPMENT, FAN OR COMPONENT.
  
 3) PLEASE PROVIDE HOW THE A/ C COMPRESSOR PIPES ARE
 GOING TO BE ROUTED FROM THE 3RD FLOOR ROOF TO THE 1ST
 FLOOR. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B
 714.4.1 714.4.1 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED ASSEMBLIES.
 PENETRATIONS OF THE FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED FLOOR,
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY OR THE CEILING MEMBRANE OF A
 ROOF/CEILING ASSEMBLY SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTIONS
 714.4.1.1 THROUGH 714.4.1.3.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
