 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE STRUCTURES. MAIN HOUSE AND
 GUEST HOUSE. NEED A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR EACH
 STRUCTURE. THIS WILL AVOID CONFUSION AND WILL
 FACILITATE PLAN REVIEW, INSPECTIONS AND RECORDS
 RETENTION. SEC. 105.1 AND SEC. 107.2.1.4 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 2-BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.)
 FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED
 PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY
 IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT
 CODE.
  
 3- PROPOSED GUEST HOUSE:
 A) NEW BEDROOM #2: IT APPEARS THAT 3043SH WINDOW
 DOESN'T COMPLY WITH EGRESS SEC. R310.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014). IT DOESN'T SEEM TO PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED 24" CLEAR HEIGHT. PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S CUT
 SHEETS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS.
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION FOR WALL LOCATED BY
 THE GARAGE DOORS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND
 CONNECTORS. SPECIFY FINISHES ON BOTH SIDES. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C) PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) GARAGE DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS AND CLEARLY SPECIFY MULLION SIZE TO
 VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 C) ALL THE SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS/DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS. PROVIDE ONLY THE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING
 THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR DESIGNER OF RECORD TO LIST
 THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO EACH
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
 NOTE: FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL LISTED ON THE CONNECTOR
 SCHEDULE ON SHEET S-1.0 IS FOR THE 2010 CODE VERSION.
 NEED TO PROVIDE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE 2014

 D) DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING

 B) ROOF SHEATHING SPECIFICATIONS DON'T MATCH ROOF
 SHEATHING SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFIED ON SHEET S-1.0.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH. CLARIFY ROOF SHEATHING
 THICKNESS AND NUMBER OF LAYERS. NOTE: SEC. R803.2.3.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL REQUIRES 8D RING SHANK NAILS MIN.
  
 C) ROOF INSULATION: THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF
 INSULATION SPECIFIED. TAPERED INSULATION WITH THE ROOF
 ASSEMBLY AND R-30 BATT INSULATION BETWEEN ROOF JOISTS.
 CLARIFY IF BOTH INSULATIONS ARE GOING TO BE INSTALLED.
 COORDINATE WITH ROOFING PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED.
 SEC. R806 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 6- FOUNDATION PLAN ON SHEET S-1.0:
 A) IS MISSING THE CONCRETE BLOCK WALL VERTICAL
 REINFORCEMENT AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R609.3.3

 9- FLAT ROOF NOA'S SUBMITTED (NOA 15-0203.05 AND
 14-1030.02):
 A) CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO
 BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. NOTE:
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #5(C) ABOVE. IS IT GOING TO BE AN
 INSULATED FLAT ROOF ASSEMBLY OR ROOF IS GOING TO BE
 INSULATED BETWEEN ROOF JOISTS?
  
 B) PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS AS
 REQUIRED BY GENERAL LIMITATION #7 ON LAST PAGE OF
 NOA'S. NOTE: CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED IF THE SELECTED
 ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF
 ZONES.
  
 10- PLANS NEED TO HAVE THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF THE
 PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS. TILE BLOCK STATES THAT PLANS
 WERE DRAWN BY H.V.
 NOTE: IF THE DESIGNER IS THE CONTRACTOR, THEN
 CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE PROOF THAT HE/SHE IS QUALIFIED TO
 CERTIFY PLANS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 489.115 (4)(B)2. THE
 FOLLOWING IS A COPY OF THAT SECTION: ?"IN ADDITION, THE
 BOARD MAY APPROVE SPECIALIZED CONTINUING EDUCATION
 COURSES ON COMPLIANCE WITH THE WIND RESISTANCE
