 NOTE:
 I TRY TO APPROVE PLANS WITH PROVISO WHEN THERE ARE
 PENDING ITEMS THAT CAN BE SUBMITTED LATER AFTER THE
 PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT IN THIS CASE I CAN NOT ISSUE THE
 PERMIT WITH THE PROVISO BECAUSE THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS
 NEED TO BE MET.
  
 NOTE:
 ARCHITECT TO PAY FOUR TIMES THE PLAN REVIEW FEE AS
 REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 553.80(2)(B) FOR MULTIPLE
 PLAN REVIEW REJECTIONS.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- SIZE OF WINDOWS SPECIFIED FOR BEDROOM #3 DON'T SEEM
 TO COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). REVISE SIZE OF
 WINDOWS OR PROVIDE PROOF THAT SPECIFIED SIZE WILL
 COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. ARCHITECT'S RESPONSE LETTER
 STATES "EGRESS REQUIREMENTS ARE 20"X24" MINIMUM +
 MINIMUM 5.7 SF. THE OPENING SIZE IS 23 1/2" X 48"
 OPENING (WITH 7.6 SF OPENING) ALL SIZES LABELED ON THE
 WINDOW SCHEDULE (NO CHANGE TO DRAWINGS).
 NONE OF THE SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS SPECIFIED ON THE WINDOW
 SCHEDULE COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC.
 R310 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). SEC. R310.1.2
 REQUIRES A MIN. OPENING HEIGHT OF 24 INCHES. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY.
 ARCHITECT TO PAY FOUR TIMES THE PLAN REVIEW FEE AS
 REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 553.80(2)(B) FOR MULTIPLE
 PLAN REVIEW REJECTIONS.

 2- PLANS WERE REVISED AND NOW THEY SHOW REPLACEMENT OF
 ALL EXISTING WINDOWS AND DOORS. CLEARLY SPECIFY TYPE
 AND SIZE OF EXISTING BEDROOM WINDOWS TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 704
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014).
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. ARCHITECT'S RESPONSE LETTER
 STATES THAT " ALL EGRESS WINDOWS ARE LABELED AS SUCH ON
 THE SCHEDULE & THE ELEVATIONS (NO CHANGE TO DRAWINGS).
 EGRESS WINDOWS INDICATED ON THE WINDOW SCHEDULE DON'T
 COMPLY WITH EGRESS REQUIREMENTS. NEED WINDOWS THAT
 COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS (COORDINATE WITH
 ITEM #1 ABOVE) OR NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION
 SHOWING THAT THE PROPOSED WINDOWS FOR EXISTING BEDROOMS
 WILL COMPLY AT LEAST WITH WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SEC 704
 OF THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE.

 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 EXISTING GARAGE EXTERIOR WALLS AND CEILING SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE INSULATION REQUIREMENTS SHOWN ON
 THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. ARCHITECT'S RESPONSE LETTER
 STATES THAT "INSULATION CALLED OUT ON THE
 SPECIFICATIONS COVER SHEET (NEW 9" FIBERGLASS R=30).
 SPECIFICATIONS ON THE COVER SHEET ARE MISSING THE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSULATION ON THE GARAGE DOORS.
 PROVIDE INFORMATION. COORDINATE WITH THE THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED.

 A) NEW COMMENT BASED ON ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND
 ARCHITECT'S REVISIONS FOR ROOF VENTILATION. NEED
 PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR NEW ROOF VENTS AS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS. NOTE: MAKE SURE VENTS ARE DESIGNED FOR CONCRETE
 ROOF TILE.
  
 B) ORIGINAL COMMENT: CONCRETE ROOF TILE. ONLY ONE COPY
 WAS SUBMITTED. NEED TO PROVIDE 2 COPIES.
 RESPONSE: THE COVER PAGE AND THE REST OF THE PAGES OF
 THE SECOND COPY SUBMITTED DON'T MATCH. OVER PAGE
 SUBMITTED IS FOR NOA 16-0711.05 BUT THE FOLLOWING PAGE
 ARE FOR NOA 12-0222.03. PROVIDE COMPLETE AND CORRECT
 NOA'S (2 COPIES).
