 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) PLEASE CORRECT THE SITE ADDRESS AND UNIT ADDRESS SEE
 ADDRESS LISTED ABOVE. 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014
 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE
 AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED.
  
 2) THE PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE HEADING OF
 LICENSURE LIST A CRC LICENSE, CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL
 CONTRACTOR, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUT OF THE SCOPE OF
 WORK ALLOWED FOR A CRC LICENSE, SEE FLORIDA STATUTE
 489. 105 (3)(C) RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR MEANS A
 CONTRACTOR WHOSE SERVICES ARE LIMITED TO CONSTRUCTION,
 REMODELING, REPAIR, OR IMPROVEMENT OF ONE-FAMILY,
 TWO-FAMILY, OR THREE-FAMILY RESIDENCES NOT EXCEEDING
 TWO HABITABLE STORIES ABOVE NO MORE THAN ONE
 UNINHABITABLE STORY AND ACCESSORY USE STRUCTURES IN
 CONNECTION THEREWITH. PLEASE HAVE A QUALIFIED
 CONTRACTOR APPLY FOR THE BUILDING PERMIT.
  
 3) THE CONTRACTOR/ QUALIFIER WHO IS GOING TO PULL THE
 PERMIT AND SUPERVISE/ OVERSEE THE WORK IS THE ONE WHO
 CAN DRAW UP THE PLANS. THEY WILL NEED TO PRINT THEIR
 NAME, SIGN THEIR NAME AND PRINT THEIR LICENSE NUMBER ON
 THE PLANS THEY HAVE DRAWN. A CONTRACTOR CAN ONLY DRAW
 UP THE PLANS FOR WHICH THEY ARE LICENSED. 107.3.4
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE.
  
 4) THE PLANS INDICATE THIS IS NOT A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 BUT A CHANGE OF USE WITHIN THE SAME OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION . GOOGLE INDICATES THE LAST KNOWN USE
 FOR THIS TENANT SPACE TO BE A PSYCHIC. THE NEW USE IS
 TO BE GUSTOS GRILL, BOTH ARE UNDER THE BUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY. PLEASE PROVIDE A LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHOWING
 WHERE ALL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT WILL BE LOCATED, GRILLS,
 HOODS, STOVES, WORK TABLES, SINKS AND STORAGE FOR THE
 KITCHEN AREA. PLEASE PROVIDE WHERE THE TABLES AND
 CHAIRS WILL BE LOCATED IN THE PLAN AND PICK-UP AREA FOR
 TAKE OUT DINNERS. PLEASE SHOW THE EGRESS FOR THE PUBLIC
 AS WELL AS IN THE KITCHEN AREA. 107..3.5.1.1 MINIMUM
 REQUIREMENTS FOR COMMERCIAL PLAN REVIEW.
 4A) PLEASE PROVIDE HOW THE PUBLIC WILL GAIN ENTRY INTO
 THE RESTROOM WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE KITCHEN WORK
 AREA.
  
 5) THE VALUE STATED FOR THE PROJECT IS EXTREMELY LOW
 FOR THE NEW CONSTRUCTION OF WALLS, PLUMBING,ELECTRICAL,
 MECHANICAL, EQUIPMENT, REFRIGARATION TABLES AND CHAIRS.
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE UNDER
 ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS
 AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL,
 PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISHES, NORMAL SITE
 WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR BUILDINGS),
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COST, OVERHEAD
 AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE. VALUATION
 REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED DATA OF
 NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 6) THE PLANS WILL ALSO NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBLITY CODE SECTION:
 6A) 226.1. WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE
 CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE
 SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.
  
 6B) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES.
  
 6C) 227.1. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK-OUT AISLES, SALES
 COUNTERS, SERVICE COUNTERS, FOOD SERVICE LINES, QUEUES,
 AND WAITING LINES SHALL COMPLY WITH 227 AND 904.
  
 6D) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 6E) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND WORK
 SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM) MINIMUM AND 34
 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
  
 7A) MEANS OF EGRESS IS NOT ALLOWED THROUGH KITCHENS
 1014.2 NOR CAN THE RESTROOMS OPEN INTO ROOMS USED FOR
 THE PREPARATION OF FOOD FOR SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC.
