 6-INCHES (152 MM) DEEP.
 3.4. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES (457 MM)
 BETWEEN RAILS.
 3.5. RUNGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 0.75-INCH (19 MM)
 DIAMETER AND BE CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING A 300-POUND
 (136.1 KG) LOAD.
 3.6. LADDERS OVER 30 FEET (9144 MM) IN HEIGHT SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH OFFSET SECTIONS AND LANDINGS CAPABLE OF
 WITHSTANDING 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT (488.2 KG/M2).
 3.7. LADDERS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST CORROSION BY
 APPROVED MEANS. CATWALKS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED ACCESS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 24-INCHES (610
 MM) WIDE AND SHALL HAVE RAILINGS AS REQUIRED FOR
 SERVICE PLATFORMS.

 BUT THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE TYPE OF BACKING TO BE
 INSTALLED. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B
 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. GLASS MAT WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM
 BACKING PANELS, DISCRETE NONASBESTOS FIBER-CEMENT
 INTERIOR SUBSTRATE SHEETS OR NONASBESTOS FIBER-MAT
 REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS BACKER UNITS IN COMPLIANCE WITH
 ASTM C 1178, C 1288 OR C 1325 AND INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS SHALL BE
 USED AS A BASE FOR WALL TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS
 AND WALL AND CEILING PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS.
 WATER-RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD SHALL BE USED AS A
 BASE FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GA-216 OR ASTM C 840 AND
 MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS. REGULAR GYPSUM WALLBOARD
 IS PERMITTED UNDER TILE OR WALL PANELS IN OTHER WALL
 AND CEILING AREAS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 GA-216 OR ASTM C 840.
  
 5) SHEET A2 DETAILS A7, A8 & 08 ALL SHOW THE ACCESSIBLE
 WATER CLOSET GRAB BARS ARE SET AT 36 INCHES CENTERLINE
 OF THE GRAB BAR. PLEASE NOTE IN THE 2014
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 609.4 THE GRAB BARS ARE MEASURED
 FROM FINISH FLOOR TO THE TOP OF THE GRASPING SURFACE,
 NOT CENTER LINED.
 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
