 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) NEW SKYLIGHT AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) SLIDING GLASS DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 C) ROOF TILE AS SPECIFIED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION.
 NOTE: CLARIFY SCOPE OF WORK FOR NEW ROOFING.
  
 D) ROOF TILE ADHESIVE IF SPECIFIED BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD. SEE ROOF TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR LISTED
 ADHESIVES.
  
 E) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFY FOR THE
 NEW ROOF FRAMING. PROVIDE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 DESIGNER OF RECORD TO LIST FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 2- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- PERMIT APPLICATION SPECIFIES ROOFING WORK. DESIGNER
 OF RECORD TO CLARIFY SCOPE OF ROOFING REQUIRED FOR THIS
 JOB. CLARIFY IF RE-ROOFING ENTIRE ROOF AREA OR JUST THE
 AREA OF WORK FOR NEW SKYLIGHT. DESIGNER OF RECORD TO
 SPECIFY ROOF TILE FASTENING AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS. IF SPECIFYING SCREWS, THEN
 SPECIFY SIZE AND NUMBER OF SCREWS. IF SPECIFYING ROOF
 ADHESIVE, THEN SEE ROOF TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR
 LISTED ADHESIVES.
  
 4- SHEET D1.0: DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVISE THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE SPECIFIED ON THE CLASSIFICATION OF WORK.
 THE CURRENT CODE IS THE 2014 FBC NOT 2010 FBC. SEC.
 553. FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 5- SHEET A1.0: REVISE THE BUILDING EXPOSURE AND
 CORRESPONDING DESIGN PRESSURES. THIS BUILDING IS
 LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE MANGONIA LAKE. IT
 LOOKS MORE LIKE EXPOSURE "D" RATHER THAN EXPOSURE "C".
 REVISE THE BUILDING EXPOSURE AND THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 ACCORDINGLY TO CORRESPOND TO EXPOSURE "D" OR PROVIDE
 COMPLETE RATIONAL ANALYSIS FOR AN INTERMEDIATE EXPOSURE
 AS REQUIRED BY THE EXCEPTION ON SEC. R301.2.1.4
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
 NOTE: REVISE THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE SKYLIGHT AND
 SLIDING GLASS DOORS SHOWN ON PLANS. KEEP IN MIND THAT
 THE PROPOSED SKYLIGHT IS LOCATED IN ROOF ZONE #2.
  
 6- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT (THIS APPLIES EVEN FOR
 OWNER/BUILDERS) AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUE
 FOR ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS AND INCLUDE
 THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES.
