 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 1) THE COVERSHEET C-1 LIST THIS PROJECT AS A LEVEL II
 ALTERATION. PLEASE BE AWARE THE LAST KNOWN USE OF THIS
 SPACE WAS A GYM AN A3 OCCUPANCY. THIS IS A CHANGE OF
 USE WITHIN THE SAME OCCUPANCY GROUP TO AN A2 TAVERNS
 AND BARS. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLANS TO THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF SECTION 1001.3 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION,
 THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE.
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1001.3 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. WHERE THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A
 BUILDING CHANGES, THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 1002
 THROUGH 1012 SHALL APPLY. THIS INCLUDES A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WITHIN A GROUP AS WELL AS A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION FROM ONE GROUP TO A
 DIFFERENT GROUP.
  
 2) PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A DISCREPANCY IN THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD PROVIDED. THE COVERSHEET DECLARES 173 OCCUPANTS
 WHEREAS THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET 1.4A LIST 178 AS A TOTAL
 OCCUPANT LOAD. PLEASE UPDATE THE DISCREPANCY.
 107.2.1.3. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET 1.4AINTHE
 OCCUPANT LOAD EXITING IS USING THE MORE RESTRICTIVE
 FACTOR 0.3 INCHES FOR STAIRS SEE FBC-B 1005.3.1. THE
 ACTUAL COUNT ALLOWED WILL BE LOWER.
  
 4) THE REAR EXIT DOORWAY HAS A HALLWAY IN FRONT OF IT 4
 FT. 7 INCHES WIDE OR 55 INCHES IN WIDTH. DOOR & 10
 SWINGS OVER THE ? OF THE REQUIRED EXIT WIDTH. THE
 REQUIRED MINIMUM EXIT FOR OCCUPANT LOADS OF 50 OR MORE
 44 INCHES, ? OF THE REQUIRED WIDTH IS 22 INCHES. WITH
 THE DOOR IN THE OPEN POSITION ONLY 19 INCHES REMAIN.
 2014 FBC-B 1005.7.1 DOORS. DOORS, WHEN FULLY OPENED,
 SHALL NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN 7
 INCHES (178 MM). DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL NOT REDUCE
 THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN ONE-HALF.
  
 5) 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1013 ENERGY
 CONSERVATION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, ENERGY CODE, PLEASE PROVIDE HOW COMPLIANCE WILL
 BE ACHIEVED.
  
 6) PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE 1012.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.
 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 1012.2.1 AND 1012.2.2.
 6A) 1012.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
 6B) 1012.2.2 FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION SYSTEM.
 7) PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 1012.1.4
 ACCESSIBILITY OF THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE IS
 ACHIEVED. ALL BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION
 1012.8 EXIST. BUILD. CODE. PLEASE SHOW ON THE LIFE

 7A) DINING SURFACES. 226.1. WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE
 PROVIDED FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST
 5 PERCENT OF THE SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT
 THE DINING SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.
  
 7B) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES.
  
 7C) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 7D) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND WORK
 SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM) MINIMUM AND 34
 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
  
 8) THE COVER SHEET INDICATES IN THE REAR OF THE
 BUILDING THERE WILL BE NEW OVERHEAD DOOR AND REAR SWING
 EGRESS DOORS. SHEET A1.6A SHOWS A DETAIL OF AN EXISTING
 HEADER. GOOGLE SHOWS THE REAR OF THE BUILDING WITH A
 SINGLE 3-0X 7-0 DOOR. PLEASE EXPLAIN EXISTING HEADER.
 IN THIS REVIEW THERE WERE NO STRUCTURAL PLANS
 INDICATING HOW THE MWFRS( MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING
 SYSTEM) IS GOING TO REMAIN INTACT WITH THE NEW
 OPENINGS, IF LINTELS OR CONCRETE BEAMS TYPE OF COLUMNS,
 ARE GOING TO BE CREATED. THERE IS NO SIZING INFORMATION
 OF REBAR, HOOPS, SPACING OF HOOPS, STRENGTH OF CONCRETE
 MIX LAP SPLICES, REBAR EMBEDMENT TO EXISTING FOOTERS
 AND BEAMS.
 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS

 AND INFILL OF SILL. THE NEW SILL HAS NO DETAILS HOW IT
 WILL ANCHORED AS PART OF THE MWFRS (MAIN WIND FORCE
 RESISTING SYSTEM) TO ANCHOR THE BIFOLD WINDOWS.

 DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE RAISED EXIT DISCHARGE LANDING SWITCH
 BACK AND RAMP WITH EITHER GUARDS OR HANDRAILS. THERE IS
 NO STRUCTURAL INFORMATION FOR ANY OF THESE ELEMENTS,
 SIZE OF FOOTERS, IF MONOLITHIC OR STEMWALL,
 REINFORCEMENT OF REBARS, FOR FOOTERS, COLUMNS, AND
 BEAMS. NO NOTATION AS TO WHERE THE REAR PROPERTY LINE
 IS LOCATED ON THE PLANS, NOR POWER POLE LOCATION NOR
 THE REROUTING OF THE SOUTHEAST RAIN DOWNSPOT.
 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 107.3.5.1.1 BUILDING STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS, FOOTERS,
 SLABS, COLUMNS AND BEAMS
 1010.8.2 OUTDOOR CONDITIONS. OUTDOOR RAMPS AND OUTDOOR
 APPROACHES TO RAMPS SHALL BE DESIGNED SO THAT WATER
 WILL NOT ACCUMULATE ON WALKING SURFACES.
  
 1010.9 HANDRAILS. RAMPS WITH A RISE GREATER THAN 6
 INCHES (152 MM) SHALL HAVE HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES.
 HANDRAILS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1012.
 11) SHEET 1.0A THE REAR EXIT DOOR # 6 DOES SHOW A
 REQUIRED PANIC BAR AND DOOR CLOSER ON THE NEW EXIT
 DOOR. WITH THIS TYPE OF HARDWARE ON THE DOOR A 12 INCH
 MANEUVERING CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED ON THE INTERIOR OF
 THE DOOR. SEE 2014 ACCESS. CODE FIGURE 404.2.4.1.
  
 12) SHEET 1.0A THE REAR EXIT DOOR # 6 DOES SHOWS A
 UPPER LANDING FOR A RAMP. THE LANDING DOES NOT GIVE A
 DIMENSION FOR WIDTH FROM THE BUILDING. PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH ACCESS. CODE 405.7.4 CHANGE IN
 DIRECTION.
  
 13) SHEET 3.4M SHOWS ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT. RTU 1 IS NOT
 CLEAR IF THIS UNIT IS EXISTING OR NEW. DETAILS SHOW 3X3
 ANGLES TO BE WELDED TO THE TOP CHORD OF THE BAR JOIST,
 THERE IS NO INFORMATION AS TO THE TYPE OF WELDS, THE
 3X3 ANGLES DOES NOT PROVIDE THE THICKNESS NOR THE
 LENGTH OF THE ANGLES. THE DESIGNER HAS NOT INDICATED
 POINT LOADING OF THE BAR JOIST AND OR STRENGTHENING OF
 BAR JOIST FOR THE ADDITIONAL LOADING.
 THE ROOF TOP CURB SIZE IS NOT PROVIDED, NOR PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR THE CURB WERE SUBMITTED.
 MISSING INFORMATION. ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 107.2.1.3.
 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO
 WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND
 PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 14) SHEET 3.4M ALSO SHOWS A CONNECTION FOR THE ROOF TOP
 RTU TO THE CURB, THIS DETAIL DOES NOT PROVIDE THE WIND
 SPEED THAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR. 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND
 RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND
 SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
 INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND PRESSURES DETERMINED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 15) SHEET 3.4M . PLEASE PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT TO
 SEE IF COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 1509.6.4 OF THE FBC-B
 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING
 ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT
 A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL
 BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS,
 THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL
 TO THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE.
 SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER

 GUARDS SHALL BE PROVIDED WHERE APPLIANCES, EQUIPMENT,
 FANS, ROOF HATCH OPENINGS OR OTHER COMPONENTS THAT
 REQUIRE SERVICE ARE LOCATED WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM) OF
 A ROOF EDGE OR OPEN SIDE OF A WALKING SURFACE AND SUCH
 EDGE OR OPEN SIDE IS LOCATED MORE THAN 30 INCHES (762
 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, ROOF OR GRADE BELOW. THE GUARD
 SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED SO AS TO PREVENT THE PASSAGE OF A
