 AND SEALED SOILS REPORT WAS SUBMITTED. 2014 FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE W 2014 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION SECTION 107.1 SUBMITTAL
 DOCUMENTS CONSISTING OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS,
 STATEMENT OF SPECIAL INSPECTIONS, GEOTECHNICAL REPORT
 AND OTHER DATA SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN TWO OR MORE SETS
 WITH EACH PERMIT APPLICATION.
  
 3)2ND REQUEST. THE PLANS AFFILIATED WITH THE SCREENS
 STRUCTURE(S-SCRN) AND THE GRIT REMOVAL STRUCTURE
 (S-GRT) SHOW MASSIVE CONCRETE RESTORATION WORK. SHEET
 S-GEN-2 STRUCTURAL OBSERVATIONS INDICATES THERE IS TO
 BE AN ENGINEER ONSITE FOR QUALITY INSURANCE
 INSPECTIONS. THE CITY BELIEVES THIS PROJECT WOULD BEST
 BE SUITED WITH AN ONSITE RESIDENT INSPECTOR. IF THE
 CONTRACTOR AND OR OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE WOULD LIKE THE
 RESIDENT INSPECTOR TO ALSO COMPLETE THE STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTIONS FOR THE NEW SCREENINGS BUILDING, THEN LIST
 BOTH PERMIT NUMBERS ON THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORM.
  
 3A) 2ND REQUEST. ONCE A CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN SELECTED
 RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS WILL BE E-MAILED TO THEM SO
 ALL PARTIES INVOLVED WILL BE ABLE TO SIGN THE RESIDENT
 INSPECTOR AGREEMENT. IF THERE IS ANY OTHER
 REPRESENTATIVE THAT WOULD LIKE THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 FORMS E-MAILED, PLEASE CONTACT ME BY E-MAIL. E-MAIL
 [email protected]. RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS MUST BE
 SIGNED BY ALL PARTIES NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
  
 3B) 2ND REQUEST. FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE
 PROVIDE A RESUME' OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS
 PROJECT. THE RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL
 CERTIFICATES AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 OR HIS DESIGNEE WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE
 RESUME' IS REVIEWED, AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED.
  
 3C) 2ND REQUEST. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PRODUCE A JOB
 SUMMARY OR HISTORY FOR THIS TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.
  
 3D) 2ND REQUEST. NOTE FOR PAPER PLANS 3 SETS OF
 DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED. FOR DIGITAL PLANS, AFTER PERMIT
 ISSUANCE, THE PERMIT LIBRARIAN WILL E-MAIL YOU, THE
 APPROVED AND BATCH STAMPED PLANS SO YOU MAY PRINT YOUR
 PLANS, TWO SETS OF PLANS WILL NEED TO BE PRINTED IN
 COLOR, (1) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR, THE OTHER FOR
 THE MEP INSPECTORS.
  
 3E) 2ND REQUEST. 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION,
 110.3.9 AND GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR PROJECTS
 CONCERNING RESIDENT INSPECTORS. COMMENT # 14. THREE (3)
 COPIES OF ALL SHOP DRAWINGS (HANDRAILS, PRECAST JOINT
 AND SLABS, PRODUCT APPROVALS, TRUSSES, BAR JOIST, ETC.)
 MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. TWO
 REVIEWED SETS OF DOCUMENTS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE JOB
 SITE BEFORE ANY OF THE ABOVE ARE INSTALLED ON THE JOB.
  
 3F)2ND REQUEST. PLEASE CALL THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH?S AUTOMATED TELEPHONE INSPECTIONS LINE (561)
 805-6700) FOR IN-PROGRESS INSPECTIONS FOR AUDITING OF
 JOBSITE INSPECTIONS.
  
 4) BUILDING PROVISO: THIS REVIEW NO PRODUCT INFORMATION
 WAS SUBMITTED FOR THE PRODUCTS THAT WILL BE USED IN THE
 CONCRETE RESTORATION NOR THE VARIOUS COATING SYSTEMS TO
 BE USED IN THE PROCESS. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) BUILDING PROVISO, OWNER OF PERMIT IS AT OWN RISK:
 SHEET S-SCRN-2 IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THERE WILL BE
 BOTTOM OF SLAB PENETRATIONS WHERE NEW SLABS ARE BEING
 POURED BELOW THE EXISTING LEVELS. THE SOILS REPORT
 INDICATES THE WATER LEVEL IS APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET
 BELOW GRADE. PLEASE PROVIDE A DE-WATERING PLAN. THE
 RADISE SOILS REPORT RECOMMENDS UNDER THE HEADING 7.5
 THE DEWATERING SYSTEM EMPLOYED SHOULD BE CAPABLE OF
 MAINTAINING A PRE-DRAINED SURFACE A MINIMUM OF 24
 INCHES BELOW THE EXCAVATED BOTTOMS. PLEASE PROVIDE
 DOCUMENTATION HOW THE EXCAVATED AREAS TO BE CONCRETED
 ARE GOING TO BE KEPT DRY FOR SUITABLE BEARING VALUES.
 1803.6 REPORTING. (5) RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FOUNDATION
 TYPE AND DESIGN CRITERIA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
 BEARING CAPACITY OF NATURAL OR COMPACTED SOIL;
 MITIGATION OF THE EFFECTS OF LIQUEFACTION, DIFFERENTIAL
 SETTLEMENT AND VARYING SOIL STRENGTH; AND THE EFFECTS
 OF ADJACENT LOADS.

 DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION. FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE
 DELEGATED ENGINEER SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED
 ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR
 REVIEW.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
