 ADMINISTRATION
  
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THE TITLE SHEET T1 IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE
 PLAN SHOWS AN EGRESS PLAN WITH (2) REAR EXITS
 AND (1) FRONT EGRESS SET OF DOORS. THE TITLE SHEET ALSO
 STATES THERE IS 2,097 SQUARE FEET OF SUPPORT AREA, AND
 1,488 SQUARE FEET OF LOADING AND STORAGE AREA. THE
 TITLE SHEET A1 NOR A3 SHOW WHERE THE STORAGE/ LOADING
 AREAS ARE LOCATED AND WHERE THE (2) EGRESS AISLES ARE
 LOCATED WITHIN THESE AREAS. CODE COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 1014.2 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES. 4.
 EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS,
 CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES.
  
 EXCEPTIONS:
 2. MEANS OF EGRESS ARE NOT PROHIBITED THROUGH
 STOCKROOMS IN GROUP M OCCUPANCIES WHEN ALL OF THE
 FOLLOWING ARE MET:
  
 2.1. THE STOCK IS OF THE SAME HAZARD CLASSIFICATION AS
 THAT FOUND IN THE MAIN RETAIL AREA;
  
 2.2. NOT MORE THAN 50 PERCENT OF THE EXIT ACCESS IS
 THROUGH THE STOCKROOM;
  
 2.3. THE STOCKROOM IS NOT SUBJECT TO LOCKING FROM THE
 EGRESS SIDE; AND
  
 2.4. THERE IS A DEMARCATED, MINIMUM 44-INCH-WIDE (1118
 MM) AISLE DEFINED BY FULL- OR PARTIAL-HEIGHT FIXED
 WALLS OR SIMILAR CONSTRUCTION THAT WILL MAINTAIN THE
 REQUIRED WIDTH AND LEAD DIRECTLY FROM THE RETAIL AREA
 TO THE EXIT WITHOUT OBSTRUCTIONS.
  
 2) SHEET A6 THE ELEVATIONS SHOW NEW GLAZING BEING
 INSTALLED, THE DOOR PRODUCT APPROVAL FL17693. PLEASE
 COMPLY WITH:
 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH
 ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR
 TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. FL
 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..

 INSTALLED, FL 17690 STOREFRONT PRODUCT APPROVAL WAS
 SUBMITTED FOR THIS REVIEW. PLEASE COMPLY WITH;

 ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR
 TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. FL

 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
