 BECAUSE THERE ARE 5 BUILDINGS IN THIS LOT AND THIS IS
 THE BUILDING WHERE WORK IS PERFORMED. JG.
  
  
 1- PLANS SUBMITTED SHOW AN "EXISTING AVIARY". PLANS
 SHOW A LARGE STRUCTURE. ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS THERE
 ARE NO PERMITS FOR THIS STRUCTURE. PROVIDE COMPLETE
 PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THIS STRUCTURE AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1.1.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH
 EDITION (2014).
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ZONING PROPOSED USE OF THE
 STRUCTURE.
  
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) ELEVATOR ENTRY DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) LANAI ENTRY DOOR TO BE REPLACED AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 C) ELEVATOR STOREFRONT SYSTEM AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 D) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 DESIGNER OF RECORD TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 NUMBER NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 3- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ABOVE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 RE-FRAMING AND REINFORCEMENT AT THE CORNER AREA WHERE
 NEW ELEVATOR SHAFT IS GOING TO BE BUILT. NOTE: THIS
 APPLIES TO FIRST FLOOR, SECOND FLOOR AND ROOF AREA.
 SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBER AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1

 5- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FRAMING OF THE ELEVATOR
 HOISTWAY. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS.

 6- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE FRAMING OF THE NEW STOREFRONT WINDOWS SHOWN ON
 PLANS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS. SEC.
 R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE FRAMING OF THE NEW ENTRY DOOR SHOWN ON PLANS.

 8- STRUCTURAL NOTES ON SHEET S-1:
 A) REVISE THE WIND LOAD REFERENCE. THE CURRENT ASCE-7
 IS THE 2010 EDITION NOT 2014. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 CHAPTER 553 F.S.
  
 B) CLEARLY SPECIFY THE WIND LOAD. WHAT IS THE 140 MPH
 WIND LOAD?. SPECIFY THE ULTIMATE WIND LOAD AND THE
 NOMINAL WIND LOAD. SEC. R301.2.1.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. .
 NOTE: THE CITY ULTIMATE WIND SPEED IS 170 MPH.
  
 C) UPDATE ALL THE CODES REFERENCED. SEE CHAPTER 46 OF
 FBBC-RESIDENTIAL FOR THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE
 REFERENCED STANDARDS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
