 1- REVISE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) OWNER OR LEGALLY OWNER'S DESIGNATED AGENT NEEDS TO
 SIGN AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING NAME OF BUILDER (OWNER'S NAME IF IS AN
 OWNER/BUILDER). SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 C) THE SQUARE FOOTAGE ON ITEM #5 IS INCORRECT. THE
 TOTAL AREA O THE NEW PLAYROOM IS 442 S.F. NOT 373 S.F.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 D) THE WINDOW AREA ON ITEM #6(C) IS INCORRECT. NEED TO
 INCLUDE ALL WINDOWS IN THE NEW PLAYROOM AND NEED TO
 INCLUDE THE GLASS AREA OF THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R405.5.3.3 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 E) REVISE FLOOR AREA ON ITEM #8. COORDINATE WITH ITEM
 #1(C) ABOVE. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 F) REVISE WALL INFORMATION ON ITEM #9. THERE IS NOT
 ADJACENT WALLL. ADJACENT IS IS THE WALL THAT SEPARATES
 CONDITIONED AREA WITH UNCONDITIONED AREA. THERE IS NOT
 UNCONDITIONED AREA BETWEEN THE EXISTING HOUSE AND THE
 NEW PLAYROOM. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 G) EXTERIOR MASONRY WALL REQUIRES MIN. R-4 INSULATION
 ON THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE WALL AND MIN. R-3
 INSULATION ON THE EXTERIOR SIDE OF THE WALL AS REQUIRED
 BY TABLE R402A OF THE PRESCRIPTIVE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 SUBMITTED. SEE FOOTNOTE #4. THE WALL INFORMATION ON
 ITEM #9 NEEDS TO BE CHANGED ACCORDINGLY.
  
 H) HVAC SIZING CALCULATIONS IS REQUIRED. REVISE ITEM

 HOW THE EXTERIOR WALL IS GOING TO HAVE R-6 INSULATION
 IN THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE WALL AND R-4.1 INSULATION
 IN THE EXTERIOR SIDE OF THE WALL AS REQUIRED BY TABLE
 R402A OF PRESCRIPTIVE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED.

 3- PRESCRIPTIVE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED REQUIRE
 R-30 ROOF INSULATION. ROOF FRAMING PLAN AND TYPICAL
 WALL SECTION SPECIFY 2 X 10 ROOF JOISTS. R-30 BATT
 INSULATION IS ABOUT 9-1/2 INCHES THICK. THERE IS NO
 ROOM FOR THE REQUIRED 1 INCH MIN. SPACE REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R806.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL FOR VENTILATION. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS.
  
 4- TYPICAL EXTERIOR WALL DETAIL ON SHEET S.2 AND ROOF
 FRAMING PLAN ON SHEET S.3 SPECIFY 2 X 10 ROOF JOISTS.
 THIS ROOF JOIST SIZE DOESN'T ALLOW ROOF CROSS
 VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R806.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014). CROSS VENTILATION REQUIRES A LEAST
 1 INCH SPACE BETWEEN THE INSULATION AND THE BOTTOM OF
 THE ROOF SHEATHING. R-30 INSULATION IS ABOUT 9-1/2"
 THICK, THEREFORE THE 1 INCH SPACE IS NOT PROVIDED.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.

 5- FLAT ROOF NOA 14-0827.14 SUBMITTED:
 A) IT CAN NOT BE USED BECAUSE THIS NOA IS FOR
 "CEMENTITIOUS WOOD FIBER DECKS". THIS IS NOT THE TYPE
 OF DECK SPECIFIED ON PLANS. NEED TO PROVIDE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR WOOD DECKS AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS. FAC
 61G20-3.002(33).
  
 B) CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHICH APPROVED FLAT ROOF ASSEMBLY
 IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.

 C) IF SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, THEN
 SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS WILL BE
 REQUIRED. SEE GENERAL LIMITATION #7 ON LAST PAGE OF NOA
 SUBMITTED. APPROVED ASSEMBLIES THAT ARE LIMITED BY
 GENERAL LIMITATION #9 MAY NOT BE USED IF THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES ARE TOO LOW. LIMITATION #9 DOESN'T ALLOW RAS
 117 CALCULATIONS.
