 1) DESIGN CRITERIA: PROVIDE ON THE PLAN A LIST OF
 CURRENT CODE REFERENCES AND STANDARDS USED IN THE
 DESIGN OF THE PROJECT.
  
 2) THE MECHANICAL PLANS MUST BE DESIGNED BY A FLORIDA
 LICENSED ENGINEER PER FLORIDA STATUTE 471.003. THE SEAL
 ON THE PLANS INDICATES THE DESIGNER HAS A "CERTIFICATE"
 BUT IS NOT LICENSED.
  
 3) REFER TO SECTION C408.2 FBC-14 ENERGY CONSERVATION-
 AC SYSTEM COMMISSIONING IS REQUIRED.
 C408.2 MECHANICAL SYSTEMS COMMISSIONING AND COMPLETION
 REQUIREMENTS.
 PRIOR TO PASSING THE FINAL MECHANICAL INSPECTION, THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SHALL PROVIDE EVIDENCE
 OF MECHANICAL SYSTEMS COMMISSIONING AND COMPLETION IN
 ACCORDANCE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT NOTES SHALL CLEARLY INDICATE
 PROVISIONS FOR COMMISSIONING AND COMPLETION
 REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION AND ARE
 PERMITTED TO REFER TO SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURTHER
 REQUIREMENTS. COPIES OF ALL DOCUMENTATION SHALL BE
 GIVEN TO THE OWNER AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE CODE
 OFFICIAL UPON REQUEST IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS
 C408.2.4 AND C408.2.5.
  
 2A) C408.2.1 COMMISSIONING PLAN.
 A COMMISSIONING PLAN SHALL BE DEVELOPED BY A REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR APPROVED AGENCY AND SHALL
 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
  
 1. A NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT WILL
 BE ACCOMPLISHED DURING EACH PHASE OF COMMISSIONING,
 INCLUDING THE PERSONNEL INTENDED TO ACCOMPLISH EACH OF
 THE ACTIVITIES.
 2. A LISTING OF THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES OR
 SYSTEMS TO BE TESTED AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE TESTS TO
 BE PERFORMED.
 3. FUNCTIONS TO BE TESTED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
 TO CALIBRATIONS AND ECONOMIZER CONTROLS.
 4. CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE TEST WILL BE PERFORMED.
 AT A MINIMUM, TESTING SHALL AFFIRM WINTER AND SUMMER
 DESIGN CONDITIONS AND FULL OUTSIDE AIR CONDITIONS.
 5. MEASURABLE CRITERIA FOR PERFORMANCE.
  
 3) SHEET M002: PROVIDE IN THE SCHEDULE THE EFFICIENCY
 RATING OF THE NEW EVAPCO COOLING TOWER- SEE TABLE
 C403.2.3(8) FBC-14 ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 4) PROVIDE WATER PIPING AND PIPE INSULATION
 SPECIFICATIONS. INDICATE THE SPACING OF THE PIPE
 SUPPORTS ON THE ROOF.
  
 5) S301: INDICATE THE CLEARANCE DISTANCE HEIGHT FROM
 THE FINISHED ROOF SURFACE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE COOLING
 TOWER SUPPORT BASE- REFER TO SECTION 102.8 AND TABLE
 1522.3 FBC-14 BUILDING.
  
 6) REFER TO SECTION 908.2 AND INDICATE HOW ACCESS TO
 THE COOLING TOWER WILL BE PROVIDED- THE PLANS DO NOT
 INDICATE ANY STAIRS OR PLATFORMS.
  
 7) REFER TO SECTION 702.4 FBC-14 EXISTING BUILDING AND
 VERIFY THAT ALL MECHANICAL ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT IS NOT
 LOCATED WITHIN 10' OF ANY ROOF EDGE THAT DOES NOT HAVE
 A GUARD OR PARAPET AT A MINIMUM HEIGHT OF 42"- SEE
 SECTION 304.11 FBC-14 MECHANICAL.
  
 8) M101: SHOW THE CLEARANCE DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS FROM
 THE COOLING TOWER DISCHARGE TO THE RTU AIR INLETS- SEE
 SECTION 908.3.
  
 9) M201: THE CONDENSATE PIPING SPECIFIED IN DETAIL 1
 CANNOT DRAIN ONTO THE ROOF SURFACE AS SPECIFIED. THE
 PIPING SHALL TERMINATE AT AN APPROVED PLACE OF DISPOSAL
 SUCH AS A ROOF DRAIN, A DRY WELL, OR PERMEABLE GROUND
 WHERE IT WILL NOT BE A NUISANCE- SECTION 307.2.1.
