 TO CABANA, BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- ACCORDING TO PLANS SUBMITTED THE PROPOSED CABANA IS
 GOING TO BE RAISED TO THE LEVEL OF THE WOOD DECK.
 ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS NOT
 PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WOOD DECK. WOOD DECK
 MAY HAVE BEING BUILT WITHOUT A PERMIT. NEED TO OBTAIN A
 PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WOOD DECK AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 105.1 CITY AMENDMENTS. PROVIDE
 COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE WOOD DECK TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 SEC. R301.31 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). NOTE:
 ACCORDING TO PLANS SUBMITTED HANDRAILS ARE REQUIRED
 SEC. R311.7.8 BC-RESIDENTIAL. AND GUARDRAILS MAY BE
 REQUIRED. PLANS FOR THE WOOD DECK CONSTRUCTION TO SHOW
 THE HEIGHT OF THE WOOD DECK ABOVE THE FINISH GRADE.
 SEC. R312.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL TO VERIFY GUARDRAIL
 REQUIREMENTS..
  
 NOTE: IF SUBMITTING THE WOOD DECK STRUCTURAL FRAMING
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS UNDER THIS PERMIT, THEN
 UPDATE THE VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION
 TO INCLUDE THE DECK. OTHERWISE, PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INFORMATION UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. PLEASE ADVICE
 WHICH ACTION IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE.
  
 3- THIS STRUCTURE WAS BUILT AROUND 1925. IT LOOKS LIKE
 IT WAS INTENDED FOR GARAGE/STORAGE. PROPOSED USE IS FOR
 HUMAN OCCUPANCY. PROVIDE STRUCTURAL EVALUATION AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1205.2 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SHOW HOW
 THE EXISTING STRUCTURE IS REINFORCED TO MEET THE
 CURRENT CODE FOR THE PROPOSED CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
  
 4- STEM WALL/FLOOR JOIST SECTION SUBMITTED: THIS
 SECTION IS MISSING ALL THE STRUCTURAL INFORMATION
 SHOWING THE CONTINUOUS LOAD PATH FROM THE ROOF TO THE
 FOUNDATION. PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION SHOWING ALL
 THE STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE UNDER FLOOR SPACE VENTILATION AND UNDER FLOOR SPACE
 ACCESS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R408 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 SPECIFY ALL OPENINGS SIZES AND LOCATION.
  
 6- RECESSED WALL SECTION DETAIL IS NOT CLEAR. CLEARLY
 SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. PROVIDE CLEAR DRAWINGS SHOWING ALL
 VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL FRAMING MEMBERS AND STRUCTURAL
 CONNECTORS. NOTE: SIZE OF T & G VERTICAL MEMBERS
 SPECIFIED ON THE RECESSED WALL SECTION DON'T MATCH SIZE
 SPECIFIED ON THE FRONT ELEVATION.
  
 7- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE NEW DOORS AN WINDOWS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING
 MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A)METAL ROOF AS SPECIFIED ON STEM WALL/FLOOR JOIST
 SECTION SUBMITTED.
  
 B) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 DESIGNER OF RECORD TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 9- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.9
