 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R101.4.3 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 3- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS (ALL
 THE WORK ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND SECOND FLOOR ADDITION).
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC.109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. REVISE VALUATION
 TO INCLUDE ALL THE WORK AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES.
  
 4- WINDOW "D" SPECIFIED FOR BEDROOM #2 DOESN'T COMPLY
 WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 5- PLANS SUBMITTED ARE MISSING THE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS.
 NOTE LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF SHEET 2/7
 AND 7/7 SPECIFIES REFER TO STRUCTURAL PLANS FOR ALL
 STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS. NEED ALL THE STRUCTURAL
 DRAWINGS. NOTE: THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1930. NEED TO
 PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS SHOWING THAT THE
 EXISTING STRUCTURE IS ADEQUATE TO RECEIVE THE
 ADDITIONAL LOAD OF THE SECOND FLOOR AND SHOWING HOW THE
 EXISTING STRUCTURE IS REINFORCED TO RECEIVE THE
 ADDITIONAL LOAD. PROVIDE COMPLETE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS
 (FLOOR FRAMING PLANS, ROOF FRAMING PLAN, ALL COMPONENTS
 AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES, COMPLETE WALL SECTIONS,
 ETC. SEC. [B]1103.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
  
 6- SOME WINDOWS ON THE SECOND FLOOR NEED TO COMPLY WITH
 THE WINDOW FALL PROTECTION SEC. R312.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 CLEARLY IDENTIFY WINDOW SIZE ( SEE WINDOW PRODUCT
 APPROVAL) AND SILL HEIGHT OF ALL SECOND FLOOR WINDOWS.
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE WINDOW FALL PROTECTION FOR
 WINDOW SILLS THAT ARE LESS THAN 24" ABOVE FINISH FLOOR.
  
 7- NEED TO SPECIFY ATTIC ACCESS ABOVE LIVING AREA.
 SPECIFY SIZE AND LOCATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R807
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 STAIRWAY AND HANDRAILS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE LIVE
 LOADS AS REQUIRED BY TABLE R301.5 AND THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF SEC. R311.7 FOR THE STAIRS (INCLUDING THE WINDER
 TREADS) AND SEC. R311.7.8 FOR THE HANDRAILS.
  
 9- SHEET 5/7:
 A) REVISE THE ROOF DECK NAILING SCHEDULE. SEE FIGURE
 R301.2(7) FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 (1) MISSING ROOF ZONE #3.
 (2) ROOF ZONES #1 AND #2 ARE INCORRECT. ROOF ZONE #1 IS
 NOT THE "ROOF PERIMETER" AND, ROOF ZONE #2 IS NOT THE
 "ROOF BODY".
  
 B) TYPICAL WALL SECTION:
 (1) PROVIDE DETAIL AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FASTENING
 OF THE 2X6 RAFTER TAILS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 (2) USP HTW20 TWIST STRAP IS SPECIFIED FOR THE ROOF
 TRUSSES TO WALL CONNECTION: THIS CONNECTOR DOESN'T
 PROVIDE RESISTANCE FOR THE LATERAL LOADS. SPECIFY HOW
 THE LATERAL LOADS ARE RESISTED. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 (3) WALL SECTION SPECIFIES USP SPTH6 STUD PLATE TIES
 (TWO PER STUD) AT TOP AND BOTTOM OF WOOD STUDS. CLARIFY
 HOW ARE THESE TWO CONNECTORS INSTALLED AT EACH END?.
 PROVIDE DETAIL SHOWING THE ACTUAL STUD CONNECTION. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 (4) R-19 INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON A 2X6 WOOD STUD. THE
 AVERAGE THICKNESS OF R-19 BATT INSULATION IS 6-1/4"

 11- SHEET 6/7:
 A) WINDOW SCHEDULE: THE NOTE REFERENCING THE
 "SAFEGUARD" FOR WINDOW FALL PROTECTION IS INCORRECT.
 SEE SEC. R312.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND PROVIDE CORRECT
 INFORMATION.
  
 B) REVISE WALL LEGEND #2. R-19 INSULATION DOESN'T FIT

 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) ALL WINDOWS AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
 NOTE: IF WINDOWS DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLASS, THEN SOME
 WINDOWS MAY NEED TO HAVE SAFETY GLAZING AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R308.4 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) RELOCATED WINDOWS. NOTE: IF THERE IS NOT PRODUCT
 APPROVAL, THEN COMPLETE ENGINEERING PACKAGE MAY BE
 SUBMITTED FOR LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL.
  
 C) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. AND, SPECIFY
 MULLION SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R301.1

 E) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF SELECTED WINDOWS DON'T HAVE
 IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION

 F) ALL SIMPSON OR USP STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED
 ON FRAMING PLANS AND DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR DESIGNER OF RECORD TO LIST THE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED
 CONNECTOR.
  
 14- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 15- SPECIFY ON PLANS HOW COMPLYING WITH THE HEATING
 REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.9 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
