 PLEASE REFER TO SECTION 708.4 FBC-B EXCEPTION # 3. IT
 APPEARS YOU ARE TAKING THIS EXCEPTION BY NOT RUNNING
 THE 1 HOUR FIRE RATED CORRIDOR WALLS UP TO THE
 UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF DECK. EXCEPTION # 3 WHERE THE
 CORRIDOR CEILING IS CONSTRUCTED AS REQUIRED FOR THE
 CORRIDOR WALLS, THE WALLS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO
 TERMINATE AT THE UPPER MEMBRANE OF SUCH CEILING
 ASSEMBLY.
  
 PLEASE SEE THE 2012 IBC BASE CODE COMMENTARY. EXCEPTION
 # 3 ALLOWS FOR A CORRIDOR TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN A TUNNEL
 FASHION- WITH RATED WALLS AND A RATED TOP. IN THESE
 CASES THE WALLS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO EXTEND TO THE
 UNDERSIDE OF A RATED ASSEMBLY. THIS IS A UNIQUE
 PROVISION IN THE CODE AND THE FACT THAT IT PERMITS A
 WALL ASSEMBLY TO BE TURNED INTO A HORIZONTAL POSITION
 SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED TO OTHER SECTIONS OF THE CODE OR

 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR

 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
