 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVER-SHEET A.1 UNDER THE SCOPE OF WORK
 INDICATES THIS IS TO BE A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY FROM A
 WAREHOUSE TO AN A-2 OCCUPANCY. PLEASE NOTE THE
 COVERSHEET ALSO STATES THIS IS A LEVEL III ALTERATION.
 PLEASE UPDATE THE DRAWING TO A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, TO
 BE DESIGNED AND REVIEWED UNDER CHAPTER 10 OF THE
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 1001.3.1 PARTIAL CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN
 EXISTING BUILDING IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION, SECTION 1012 SHALL APPLY.

 TO BE AN EVENT HALL, THE WORST CASE SCENARIO WILL NEED
 TO TAKE PRECEDENCE. PLEASE NOTE THE COVERSHEET & SHEET
 LS 1 BOTH INDICATE THE OCCUPANT LOAD TO BE REDUCED.
 MAXIMUM EVENT OCCUPANT LOAD OF 225 PERSONS PER SPECIAL
 PROVISIONS EXCEPTION FBC2014 SECTION 1004.1.2. PLEASE
 NOTE THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN DOES NOT SHOW ANY TABLES AND

 NOR THE FIRE MARSHALL HAVE SEEN A LETTER ASKING BOTH

 OTHER OBSTACLES, EGRESS AISLES, FINISHES HUNG ON WALLS
 AND OR FROM CEILINGS, ETC.
  
 3) PLEASE SEE THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED EXITS WOULD BE
 REQUIRED FOR 1009 OCCUPANTS. 1015.1.1 THREE OR MORE
 EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS. THREE EXITS OR EXIT
 ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE PROVIDED FROM ANY SPACE WITH
 AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 501 TO 1,000. FOUR EXITS OR EXIT
 ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE PROVIDED FROM ANY SPACE WITH
 AN OCCUPANT LOAD GREATER THAN 1,000. SHOW EGRESS FOR
 THE WORST CASE SCENARIO.
  
 4) PLEASE ALSO NOTE WHEN THE OCCUPANT LOAD WHEN THE
 PRIMARY OCCUPANCY IS PUBLIC ASSEMBLY WITH AN OCCUPANT
 LOAD OF GREATER THAN 300. PLEASE NOTE THIS BUILDING HAS
 2 AREAS OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLY, AREAS A, & C.
 THE RISK CATEGORY FOR THE STRUCTURE INCREASES FROM A
 RISK FACTOR II TO A RISK FACTOR OF III. SEE TABLE
 1604.5 RISK CATEGORY OF BUILDINGS. PLEASE ALSO REVIEW
 FIGURE 1609B FOR RISK CATEGORY III BUILDINGS, 180 MPH
 VULT.
 THE BUILDING WILL NEED TO BE ANALYZED FOR THE HIGHER

 5) THE BUILDING SQUARE FOOT AREA IS OVER THE ALLOWABLE
 6,000 SQ. FT. AREA PER TABLE 503 FOR EITHER AN A2 OR A3
 OCCUPANCY. PLEASE PROVIDE THE AREA AND OR SPRINKLER
 INCREASES TAKEN TO COMPLY WITH THE CODE. 506.1 GENERAL.
 THE BUILDING AREAS LIMITED BY TABLE 503 SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO BE INCREASED DUE TO FRONTAGE (IF) AND
 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM PROTECTION (IS) IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH EQUATION 5-1.
  
 6) THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1013 ENERGY
 CONSERVATION. SEE THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ENERGY
 CONSERVATION. PLEASE BE AWARE THE ENGINEER HAS
 SUBMITTED ENERGY GAUGE ASHRAE 90.1 THE ENERGY COST
 BUDGET METHOD OF COMPLIANCE. THE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
 HAVE LITTLE DATA IN REGARDS TO THE THERMAL ENVELOPE
 WHICH WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED UNDER 11.ENERGY COST
 BUDGET METHOD 11.1.3 ENVELOPE LIMITATIONS ALSO SEE 11.2
 COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS A-C. THE PLANS NEED TO SHOW THE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE VALUES GIVEN IN THE REPORT.

 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION BASED ON HAZARD
 CATEGORY. THE RELATIVE DEGREE OF HAZARD BETWEEN
 DIFFERENT OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CATEGORIES SPECIFIED IN TABLES
 1012.4, 1012.5 AND 1012.6. SUCH A DETERMINATION SHALL
 BE THE BASIS FOR THE APPLICATION OF SECTIONS 1012.4

 IS GIVEN ON THE STAIRS, RAMP HAND RAILS NOR THE
 GUARDRAILS. PLEASE NOTE THE CITY GAVE A ONE TIME USE ON
 A TEMPORARY EVENT PERMIT FOR THESE ITEMS, BUT IT WAS A
 ONE TIME EVENT. UNDER THAT ONE TIME EVENT THERE WERE NO

 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES

 8) SHEET A.5, M1.1 & M5.1. FBC-B 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND
 APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES.
 WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING ACCESS ARE
 INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT A HEIGHT
 EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS, THE
 EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL TO
 THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE. SUCH
 ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS
 GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR WALKING ON
