 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-2 CODE INFORMATION INDICATES THE 2014
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. THE PLANS DO NOT MENTION THIS
 IS A PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. THE PLANS WILL NEED
 TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE 1001.3.1 PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING
 IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, SECTION
 1012 SHALL APPLY.
  
 2) 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1012.1.4 ACCESSIBILITY.
 ALL BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1012.8.
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1012.8 ACCESSIBILITY.
 EXISTING BUILDINGS THAT UNDERGO A CHANGE OF GROUP OR
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ACCESSIBILITY.
 PLEASE SHOW A BREAK DOWN LIST OF THE COST ASSOCIATED
 WITH SECTION 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST, $110,000.00
 X 20% = $22,000.00 IN VALUE FOR ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES.
 PLEASE REVIEW THE LIST BELOW WHERE THE FUNDS ARE TO BE
 SPENT AND IN WHAT ORDER.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF

 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH

 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 3) SHEET A2 SHOWS A NEW EGRESS DOOR AT THE REAR OF THE
 TENANT SPACE. ON THE EXTERIOR A NEW DOOR LANDING AND
 RAMPS ARE PROPOSED. PLEASE NOTE THE RAMP PROTRUDES 48
 INCHES FROM THE BUILDING. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2014
 FBC-ACC. CODE SECTION 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES
 AND FIGURE ( E ). FIGURE ( E ) REQUIRES THE RAMP TO
 PROTRUDE 54 INCHES AWAY FROM THE BUILDING AND THE
 LANDING IS TO BE LEVEL FOR 42 INCHES PAST THE LATCH
 SIDE OF THE DOOR WAY. PLEASE NOTE FOR THIS TO BE AN
 ACCESSIBLE EXIT THE EXTERIOR LANDING WILL NEED TO BE
 EXTENDED TO A SIDEWALK AND TO THE PUBLIC WAY (GOOGLE
 MAPS). 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 207.1 ACCESSIBLE
 MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2003 IBC SECTION
 1007. 2003 IBC-B 1007.1. WHERE 2 OR MORE MEANS OF
 EGRESS IS REQUIRED BY SECTION 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT
 LESS THAN TWO ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 4A) THE NEW DOOR OPENING # 1 THERE MAY BE 2 CONCERNS
 NOT CLEARLY ADDRESSED IN THE PLANS. THE DOOR SCHEDULE
 DOES INDICATE THE USE OF PANIC HARDWARE AND A CHAIN
 DOOR STOP. PLEASE NOTE IF A DOOR CLOSER IS TO BE
 INSTALLED THEN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACCESS. CODE FIGURE
 404.2.4.1 ( C ) WOULD REQUIRE 12 INCHES CLEARANCE ON
 THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE DOOR AT THE LATCH SIDE.
  
 4B) THE OTHER ISSUE IS THE DISTANCE FROM THE DOOR FACE
 ON THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE DOOR TO THE FINISH WALL AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 404.2.4.3.
  
 5) SHEET A2 THE NEW DOOR # 1 PLEASE PROVIDE THE WIND
 DESIGN CRITERIA. 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA.

 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE

 9D) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES. PLEASE NOTE THE NEWLY
 PROPOSED COUNTERTOP AT 42 INCHES WILL NEED TO SHOW AN
 ACCESSIBLE COUNTER (DISPERSION).
  
 10) SHEET A2. PLEASE INDICATE THE 3 FRONT ENTRY DOORS
 ARE AT GRADE AND WILL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE. 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 207.1
 ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2003
 IBC SECTION 1007. 2003 IBC-B 1007.1. WHERE 2 OR MORE

 CONDENSER STAND AND NEW CONDENSER MOUNTED TO THE STAND.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA FOR THE
 ANCHORING OF THE UNIT TO THE STAND. 2014 FBC-B 1604.4
 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND THEIR
 CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY METHODS OF
 STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT EQUILIBRIUM,
 GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY AND BOTH
 SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES. EVERY
 STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE OVERTURNING
 EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES SPECIFIED IN THIS
