 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE PLANS INDICATE THAT THIS IS AN AFTER THE FACT
 PORCH ENCLOSURE. THIS IS ALSO EVIDENCED BY THE RED TAG
 ISSUED BY THE BUILDING INSPECTOR.
  
 GENERAL AFTER THE FACT PERMITS
  
 PLEASE BE ADVISED THE INSPECTOR MAY REQUIRE PREVIOUSLY
 COMPLETED WORK TO BE MADE ACCESSIBLE AND OPEN FOR
 INSPECTION OR REQUIRE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL
 CONCEALED WORK PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED PURSUANT TO FBC 110
 & FBC 117.
 FBC 110.1 GENERAL - CONSTRUCTION OR WORK FOR WHICH A
 PERMIT IS REQUIRED SHALL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AND SUCH CONSTRUCTION OR WORK
 SHALL REMAIN ACCESSIBLE AND EXPOSED FOR INSPECTION
 PURPOSES UNTIL APPROVED.
 FBC 117 - THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE TESTS OR
 TEST REPORTS AS PROOF OF COMPLIANCE. REQUIRED TESTS ARE
 TO BE MADE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE OWNER, OR AGENT, BY AN
 APPROVED TESTING LABORATORY OR OTHER APPROVED AGENCY.
  
 2) THE PLANS SPECIFY THAT THE PROJECT IS LOCATED IN
 EXPOSURE B. THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE C PER
 FBCR 301.2.1.4.3 NOTE: THE DESIGN PRESSURES ON THE
 PLANS ARE FOR EXPOSURE C.
  
 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION
 SECTIONS 101.5.1 & 103.1 BY SUBMITTING THE PROPER
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. SEE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING FORMS
 402 OR 405.
  
 4) IT IS NOT CLEAR WHAT AFFECT, IF ANY ENCLOSING THE
 PORCH HAS ON THE REQUIRED EMERGENCY EGRESS FOR SLEEPING
 ROOMS. REVISE THE PLANS TO SHOW THE DESIGNATIONS OF THE
 ROOMS THAT ARE ADJACENT TO THE FRONT PORCH. FBCR 310
  
 5) THE NEW WINDOWS IN THE ENCLOSED PORCH ARE NOT IMPACT
 RATED AND WILL REQUIRE HURRICANE SHUTTERS. FBC 107.3.4
 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE
 HURRICANE SHUTTERS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES. TWO COPIES
 OF A KEY PLAN AND AN INSTALLATION SCHEDULE ARE REQUIRED
 TO BE SUBMITTED.
  
 6) FBC - R 301.2.1.2 SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF AN
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE AND KEY PLAN FOR THE STORM
 PANELS. SPECIFY THE OPENING SIZE, THE WIND PRESSURES,
 TYPE OF ANCHOR, ANCHOR SPACING, EDGE DISTANCE, PANEL
 LENGTH, PANEL SPAN, SEPARATION DISTANCE FROM PANEL TO
 GLASS AND THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER FROM THE
 INSTALLATION DRAWINGS. I HAVE INCLUDED A LINK TO THE
 CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DEPARTMENT SITE THAT HAS MANY OF
 THE RELATED FORMS INCLUDING
 THE SCHEDULE FOR INSTALLATION OF OPENING PROTECTIVE
 DEVICES.

 7) THE VALUATION DECLARED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION ($
 2000.00) IS TOO LOW FOR THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. REVISE
