 MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
  
 1) SHEET SP 1- THERE IS NO INDICATION OF THE TYPE OF
 OCCUPANCY OF THE EXISITNG BUILDING THAT IS BEING ADDED
 ON TO TO ENSURE THE TYPE OF FIRE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED
 TO BE COMPLIED WITH.
  
 PER NFPA 1 1.14 PLAN REVIEW.
  
 1.14.1 WHERE REQUIRED BY THE AHJ FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION,
 MODIFICATION, OR REHABILITATION, CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 AND SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL BE SUBMITTED, REVIEWED, AND
 APPROVED PRIOR TO THE START OF SUCH WORK AS PROVIDED IN
 SECTION 1.14.
  
 1.14.2 THE APPLICANT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE
 THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET:
 (1) THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS INCLUDE ALL OF THE FIRE
 PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS.
 (2) THE SHOP DRAWINGS ARE CORRECT AND IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE APPLICABLE CODES AND STANDARDS.
 (3) THE CONTRACTOR MAINTAINS AN APPROVED SET OF
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ON SITE.
  
 CHAPTER 6 CLASSIFICATION OF OCCUPANCY AND HAZARD OF
 CONTENTS
 6.1 CLASSIFICATION OF OCCUPANCY.
 6.1.1 GENERAL.
 6.1.1.1 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. THE OCCUPANCY OF A
 BUILDING OR STRUCTURE, OR PORTION OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE, SHALL BE CLASSIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 6.1.2
 THROUGH 6.1.13. OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL BE
 SUBJECT TO THE RULING OF THE AUTHORITY HAVING
 JURISDICTION WHERE THERE IS A QUESTION OF PROPER
 CLASSIFICATION IN ANY INDIVIDUAL CASE.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE EXISTING OCCUPANCY AND ALL THE
 REQUIRED FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO IT AND
 THE PROPSOED.
  
  
  
  
 2) SHEET SP 1 - THERE IS NO INDICATIONS TO THE ENTRACE
 TO OR EXIT FROM THE PROPOSED 400 SQ FT COVERED SEATING
 AREA.
  
 PER NFPA 1 1.14 PLAN REVIEW.
  
 1.14.5 WHEN REQUIRED BY THE AHJ, REVISED CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS OR SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL BE PREPARED AND
 SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL TO ILLUSTRATE
 CORRECTIONS OR MODIFICATIONS NECESSITATED BY FIELD
 CONDITIONS OR OTHER REVISIONS TO APPROVED PLANS.
  
 CHAPTER 7 MEANS OF EGRESS
 7.1 GENERAL.
 7.1.1* APPLICATION. MEANS OF EGRESS FOR BOTH NEW AND
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH THIS CHAPTER.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A COMPLETE LIFE SAFETY PLAN FOR THE
 OCCUPANCY INCLUDING ALL OCCUPANT LOADS, TRAVEL
 DISTANCES, COMMON PATHS OF TRAVEL, DEAD-END CORRIDORS,
 EXIT SIGNS, EMERGENCY LIGHTING, EXITS LEADING TO A
 PUBLIC WAY, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOCATIONS, AND ALL FIRE
 SAFETY FEATURES AND EQUIPMENT.
  
  
  
 3) SHEET SP 1 - THERE IS NO INDICATION OF COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE CURRENT FLORIDA LIFE SAFETY CODE.
  
 PER NFPA 101, CHAPTER 1 ADMINISTRATION
  
 1.1* SCOPE.
 1.1.1.1 ANYTIME A REFERENCE IS MADE TO NFPA 1 OR NFPA
 101 WITHIN THIS CODE, IT SHALL BE THE FLORIDA SPECIFIC
 VERSION OF NFPA 1 AND NFPA 101.
  
 1.3 APPLICATION.
 1.3.1* NEW AND EXISTING BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES. THE
 CODE SHALL APPLY TO BOTH NEW CONSTRUCTION AND EXISTING
 BUILDINGS AND EXISTING STRUCTURES.
  
 PLEASE ENSURE COMPLAINCE AND PROVIDE A NOTE INDICATING:
  
 THE PROPOSED PROJECT SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 5TH EDITION OF FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE INCLUDING
 THE 2012 EDITION OF NFPA 1 AND NFPA 101 AND ALL OTHER
 APPLICABLE CODES OR STANDARDS.
  
  
  
 4) THERE IS INSUFFICIENT DETAIL TO PROVIDE A THOROUGH
 AND DETAIL REVIEW OF THIS PLAN REGARDING COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE AND THE EXISITNG
 OR PROPOSED OCCUPANCY.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE GREATER DETAIL BASED ON THE COMMENTS
 ABOVE AND RESUBMIT.
  
  
  
 5) ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE PROVIDED ON THE
 RE-SUBMITTAL OF THE ABOVE.
