 BUILDINGS HAVING DIFFERENT ROOF LEVELS, SUCH WALL SHALL
 TERMINATE AT A POINT NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES ABOVE THE
 LOWER ROOF LEVEL, PROVIDED THE EXTERIOR WALL FOR A
 HEIGHT OF 15 FEET ABOVE THE LOWER ROOF IS NOT LESS THAN
 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CONSTRUCTION FROM BOTH
 SIDES WITH OPENINGS PROTECTED BY FIRE ASSEMBLIES HAVING
 A FIRE PROTECTION RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 3/4 HOUR.
  
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD MAY CLOSE THESE OPENINGS IN WITH
 1 HOUR FIRE RATED CONSTRUCTION AS PER TABLE 602 OF THE
 FBC-B, INSTALL 1 HOUR FIRE RATED GLASS BLOCK, OR A 1
 HOUR FIRE SHUTTER ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE WALL.
  
 3) SHEET A-101 SHOWS UNDER THE ENCLOSED STAIRWELL A
 CLOSET. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE HOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 1009.9.3 WILL BE OBTAINED. 2014 FBC-B 1009.9.3
 ENCLOSURES UNDER INTERIOR STAIRWAYS.
 THE WALLS AND SOFFITS WITHIN ENCLOSED USABLE SPACES
 UNDER ENCLOSED AND UNENCLOSED STAIRWAYS SHALL BE
 PROTECTED BY 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CONSTRUCTION
 OR THE FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE STAIRWAY
 ENCLOSURE, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. ACCESS TO THE ENCLOSED
 SPACE SHALL NOT BE DIRECTLY FROM WITHIN THE STAIR
 ENCLOSURE.
  
 4) SHEET A-101, A-103 & A-104 ALL SHOW A NEW EXTERIOR
 STAIR. THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 1026 OF THE 2014 FBC-B. 1026.6 EXTERIOR STAIRWAY AND
 RAMP PROTECTION.
 EXTERIOR EXIT STAIRWAYS AND RAMPS SHALL BE SEPARATED
 FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING AS REQUIRED IN
 SECTION 1022.2. OPENINGS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THOSE
 NECESSARY FOR EGRESS FROM NORMALLY OCCUPIED SPACES.
 PLEASE ALSO SEE THE 2012 IBC COMMENTARY 1026.6 AND
 FIGURE 1026.6(1) FOR ALLOWABLE OPENINGS AND REQUIRED
 FIRE RATINGS. PLEASE NOTE THIS AFFECTS ALL OPENINGS 1ST
 & 2ND FLOORS THAT ARE WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE STAIR&
 LANDINGS ON BOTH BUILDINGS!!!!!
  
 5) SHEET A-101: THE 2ND STORY R2 OCCUPANCY EGRESS STAIR
 OPENS SWINGING OUT OVER THE PROPERTY LINE.
 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8 FEET IN
 HEIGHT. DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL NOT OPEN OR PROJECT
 INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 6) SHEET A-101 THE NEW PROPOSED DELI DOES NOT SHOW ANY
 EGRESS DOORS THAT OPEN ONTO DIXIE HWY. THERE IS A PAIR
 OF DOORS OUT THE BACK OF THE PROPOSED DELI BUT WOULD
 NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR EGRESS COURTS,
 SECTION FBC-B 1027.4.(1-5).
  
 7) SHEET A-103 SHOWS A WALL TYPE LEGEND WITH VARIOUS UL
 LISTINGS. PLEASE PROVIDE THE WHOLE UL LISTING SO THE
 INSPECTORS WILL HAVE DOCUMENTATION IN THE FIELD WHAT
 MAKES UP THE WALL ASSEMBLY. 703.2 FIRE-RESISTANCE
 RATINGS.
  
 8) THE 2ND FLOOR CORRIDOR WALLS WILL NEED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B 1018.6 CORRIDOR CONTINUITY.
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CORRIDORS SHALL BE CONTINUOUS
 FROM THE POINT OF ENTRY TO AN EXIT, AND SHALL NOT BE
 INTERRUPTED BY INTERVENING ROOMS. WHERE THE PATH OF
 EGRESS TRAVEL WITHIN A FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CORRIDOR
 TO THE EXIT INCLUDES TRAVEL ALONG UNENCLOSED EXIT
 ACCESS STAIRWAYS OR RAMPS, THE FIRE RESISTANCE-RATING
 SHALL BE CONTINUOUS FOR THE LENGTH OF THE STAIRWAY OR
 RAMP AND FOR THE LENGTH OF THE CONNECTING CORRIDOR ON
 THE ADJACENT FLOOR LEADING TO THE EXIT.
  
 9) SHEET A-105 SHOWS ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF OF
 THE SECOND STORY PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH: FBC-B
 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING
 ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT
 A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL
 BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS,
 THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL
 TO THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE.
 SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER
 OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR
 WALKING ON ROOFS HAVING A SLOPE GREATER THAN 4 UNITS
 VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE).
 PERMANENT LADDERS INSTALLED FOR ROOF TOP ACCESS.
  
 10A) SHEET A-201 & A-202 PLEASE PROVIDE THE CLEAR
 OPENING SIZE FOR THE WINDOWS (VENT) FOR COMPLIANCE
 WITH: FBC-B 1029.2 MINIMUM SIZE. EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING
 OF 5.7 SQUARE FEET.
  
 10B) FBC-B 1029.2.1 MINIMUM DIMENSIONS. THE MINIMUM NET
 CLEAR OPENING HEIGHT DIMENSION SHALL BE 24 INCHES (610
 MM). THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING WIDTH DIMENSION
 SHALL BE 20 INCHES (508 MM). THE NET CLEAR OPENING
 DIMENSIONS SHALL BE THE RESULT OF NORMAL OPERATION OF
 THE OPENING.
  
 10C) FBC-B 1029.3 MAXIMUM HEIGHT FROM FLOOR. EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE THE BOTTOM OF THE
 CLEAR OPENING NOT GREATER THAN 44 INCHES (1118 MM)
 MEASURED FROM THE FLOOR.
  
 11) SHEET A-103 THE REAR APARTMENT WITH THE TUB NEXT TO
 THE EXTERIOR WALL AND WINDOW, PLEASE PROVIDE SILL
 HEIGHT AND COMPLIANCE WITH: FBC-B 2406.4.5 GLAZING AND
 WET SURFACES. GLAZING IN WALLS, ENCLOSURES OR,
 BATHTUBS, SHOWERS WHERE THE BOTTOM EXPOSED EDGE OF THE
 GLAZING IS LESS THAN 60 INCHES MEASURED VERTICALLY
 ABOVE ANY STANDING OR WALKING SURFACE SHALL BE
 CONSIDERED A HAZARDOUS LOCATION. THIS SHALL APPLY TO
 SINGLE GLAZING AND ALL PANES IN MULTIPLE GLAZING.
  
 12) NEITHER THE ELEVATION SHEETS NOR THE STRUCTURAL
 SHEETS PROVIDE THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA NOR PRESSURES.
 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA.
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 STRUCTURE:
