 1) SHEET SP-1 CODE REFERENCES: LIST THIS TENANT FIT-UP
 AS A LEVEL LL ALTERATION AND THE BUILDING STRUCTURE
 BEING BUILT UNDER THE ORIGINAL PERMIT AS A SHELL
 BUILDING. THIS TENANT FIT UP IS THE 1ST OCCUPANCY. THE
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS LIST THIS AS A LEVEL LL ALTERATION,
 PLEASE NOTE AS THE 1ST TENANT FIT UP TO THE SHELL
 BUILDING THIS IS CONSIDERED NEW CONSTRUCTION AND SHOULD
 RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
 SEE 2014 EXISTING 101.4.1. BUILDINGS NOT PREVIOUSLY
 OCCUPIED. A BUILDING OR PORTION OF A BUILDING THAT HAS
 NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY OCCUPIED OR USED FOR ITS INTENDED
 PURPOSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS IN EXISTENCE AT THE
 TIME OF ITS COMPLETION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING OR FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL, AS APPLICABLE, FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION OR WITH ANY CURRENT PERMIT FOR SUCH
 OCCUPANCY.
  
 2) SHEET A1 THE DEMOLITION PLAN SHOWS NEW OPENINGS IN
 THE EXTERIOR WALL OR OPENINGS BEING MADE WIDER. SHEET
 A3 SHOWS A DETAIL FOR A NEW LINTEL AND FILLED CELL ON
 EACH SIDE OF THE NEW DOORWAY & FRAME. THERE IS NO
 DETAIL FOR OPENING 39 & 40 IF DEPICTED IS TO BLOCK WORK
 BETWEEN THE 2 DOOR WAYS 24 INCHES OF BLOCK, IT APPEARS
 TO BE 3 CELLS? IF SO WILL THERE BE (2) SINGLE LINTELS
 OR ONE LONG LINTEL? HOW MANY VERTICAL REBARS IN THE 3
 CELL BLOCKWORK, 2 OR 3? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 3A) SHEET A-2 HAS NOTES LABELED SUPPLEMENTAL NOTES THAT
 ARE REQUIRING OVERHEAD DOOR AND STOREFRONT DOOR AND
 FRAMES TO BE UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT. THEN PLEASE REMOVE
 THIS WORK FROM THIS PLAN. 107.2.4 EXTERIOR WALL
 ENVELOPE. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR ALL BUILDINGS
 SHALL DESCRIBE THE EXTERIOR WALL ENVELOPE IN SUFFICIENT
 DETAIL TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE WITH THIS CODE. THE
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE
 EXTERIOR WALL ENVELOPE AS REQUIRED, INCLUDING FLASHING,
 INTERSECTIONS WITH DISSIMILAR MATERIALS, CORNERS, END
 DETAILS, CONTROL JOINTS, INTERSECTIONS AT ROOF, EAVES
 OR PARAPETS, MEANS OF DRAINAGE, WATER-RESISTIVE
 MEMBRANE AND DETAILS AROUND OPENINGS. THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS SHALL INCLUDE MANUFACTURER?S INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION THAT
 THE PROPOSED PENETRATION AND OPENING DETAILS DESCRIBED
 IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS MAINTAIN THE WEATHER
 RESISTANCE OF THE EXTERIOR WALL ENVELOPE. THE
 SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION SHALL FULLY DESCRIBE THE
 EXTERIOR WALL SYSTEM WHICH WAS TESTED, WHERE
 APPLICABLE, AS WELL AS THE TEST PROCEDURE USED.
  
 3B) SHEET A-2 HAS NOTES LABELED SUPPLEMENTAL NOTES THAT
 ARE REQUIRING OVERHEAD DOOR AND STOREFRONT DOOR, HOLLOW
 METAL DOORS AND LINTELS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
 PLEASE SUBMIT THE LISTED PRODUCT APPROVALS, THIS WAS
 DECLARED A DEFERRED SUBMITTAL UNDER 107.3.4.2.

 3C) 107.3.4.1 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA
 RULE 9N-3 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 4) SHEET A2 THE BOYS RESTROOM PARTITION TYPE # 4 IS
 SHOWN TO HAVE 5/8 INCH DURAROCK 2 FOOT HIGH? IS THE
 DURAROCK TO BE IN THE RESTROOM SIDE OF THE WALL?
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 5) SHEET A2 NOR A4 RESTROOM DETAIL INDICATE CODE
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B 1210.2.2 WALLS AND
 PARTITIONS.
 WALLS AND PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET (610 MM) OF SERVICE
 SINKS, URINALS AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH,
 HARD, NONABSORBENT SURFACE, TO A HEIGHT OF NOT LESS
 THAN 4 FEET (1219 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, AND EXCEPT FOR
 STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS, THE MATERIALS USED IN SUCH WALLS
 SHALL BE OF A TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY
 MOISTURE.
  
 6) SHEET A2 NOR A4 RESTROOM DETAIL SHOW THE TYPE OF
 WALL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE WALLS BETWEEN CLASSROOM #9
 AND THE GIRLS RESTROOM AS WELL AS THE BOYS RESTROOM.
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 7) SHEET A3 ROOM FINISH SCHEDULE INDICATES THE USE OF
 SEALED CONCRETE FLOORS AND 4 INCH VINYL BASE IN THE
 RESTROOMS. SECTION 1210.2.1 FLOORS & WALL BASES ONLY
 REQUIRE A SMOOTH, HARD, NONABSORBENT VERTICAL BASE THAT
 EXTENDS UPWARD ONTO THE WALLS NOT LESS THAN 4 INCHES .
 THE CODE DOES NOT REQUIRE THE SAME MATERIAL FOR THE
 FLOOR AND BASE ONLY THAT THERE IS AN ADEQUATE SEAL
 BETWEEN MATERIALS TO RESTRICT MOISTURE FROM GETTING
 BEHIND THE SURFACE MATERIAL AND INTO THE WALL
 CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE.
 8) IMPACT FEES, IMPACT FEES MAY BE DUE EVEN THOUGH THIS
 IS 1ST TIME OCCUPANCY. TODATE ZONING HAS NOT SEEN IF
 THERE HAS BEEN AN UPDATED TRAFFIC CONCURRENCY STUDY
 COMPLETED. THE P.B. COUNTY CONCURRENCY STUDY WILL NEED
 TO BE REVIEWED BY THE W. P. B. ZONING DEPARTMENT TO SEE
 AT WHAT STUDENT CAP WILL BE PUT ON THIS PROJECT. FROM
 THAT POINT THE PLANS WOULD GO TO PALM BEACH COUNTY
 IMPACT FEE OFFICE FOR ASSESSMENT.
  
 9) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
