 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) PREVIOUS COMMENT #6) REVISE WALL SECTION 9 ON SHEET
 A-2 TO SHOW THAT THE INSULATION IS CONTINUOUS FROM THE
 WALL TO THE ROOF INSULATION WITH NO GAP, WAS NOT
 ADDRESSED. THE WALL SECTION ON A-2 STILL SHOWS THE WALL
 INSULATION STOPPING AT THE TOP OF THE BLOCK WALL. IT
 HAS TO CONTINUE ALL THE WAY UP TO THE ATTIC INSULATION
 AT THE UNDER SIDE OF THE ROOF SHEATHING FOR UNVENTED
 ATTIC APPLICATIONS. THE UNVENTED ATTIC SPACE IS
 REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETELY CONTAINED WITHIN THE BUILDING
 THERMAL ENVELOPE. THE INSULATION HAS TO BE CONTINUOUS.

 SPECIFICATIONS AND THE EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE SPRAY
 FOAM INSULATION, WAS NOT ADDRESSED. SPRAY FOAM
 INSULATION IS SPECIFIED IN THE WALL SECTION ON A-2.

 NOTE ON SHEET A-5 SPECIFIES 8D COMMON NAILS AND DETAIL
 3 ON A-5 HAS 10D NAILS. FBCR 803.2.3.1 REQUIRES 8D RING
 SHANK NAILS. PLEASE COORDINATE THE INFORMATION ON THE
 PLANS. THIS WAS NOT ADDRESSED CORRECTLY. THE PLANS NEED
 TO SPECIFY RING SHANK NAILS.
  
 4) PREVIOUS COMMENT #12) PROVIDE AN ENGINEER'S ANALYSIS
 WITH CALCULATIONS OF THE CONCRETE BEAM MODIFICATIONS AT
 THE OPENING FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE ADDITION. FBC
 107.2..2.1.3 THE CALCULATIONS THAT WERE REQUESTED WERE
 NOT PROVIDED AND THE INFORMATION THAT WAS PROVIDED ON
 THE PLANS IS NOT CLEAR. WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE
 EXISTING TIE BEAM? WHERE WILL IT BE CUT AND HOW MUCH OF
 IT IS BEING CUT OFF? WHAT WILL BE THE SIZE OF THE
 REMAINING BEAM? THE CONCRETE BEAM DATA SPECIFIES THE
 HEIGHT AS 6" AND THE WIDTH AS 12". THE STEEL
 REINFORCING BUCKET IS DESIGNED FOR AN 8" WIDE BEAM. THE
 TRIBUTARY WIDTH IS SPECIFIED AS 1 FOOT. THIS BEAM
 CARRIES THE LOAD OF THE EXISTING TRUSSES AND SHEATHING
 AND WILL ALSO CARRY THE LOAD OF THE PORTION OF THE NEW
 ADDITION ROOF THAT WILL BE BUILT OVER THE EXISTING
 ROOF. FOR THE PURPOSE OF EVALUATING THE BEAM, THE
 TRIBUTARY WIDTH WILL BE HALF THE SPAN OF THE EXISTING
 TRUSSES. SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED CALCULATIONS,
 DRAWINGS, DETAILS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS AS REQUIRED TO
 CLEARLY SHOW THE BEAM MODIFICATIONS AND IT'S BEARING
 CAPACITY.
  
 5) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT A
 RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
