 1. A RENOVATION PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN SUBMITTED FOR THIS
 UNIT. PER THE BUILDING OFFICIAL (AND ASSISTANT BUILDING
 OFFICIAL AND CHIEF PLANS EXAMINER), A DEMOLITION PERMIT
 TO GUT A UNIT WILL NOT BE ISSUED WITHOUT A RENOVATION
 PERMIT SUBMITTED. THIS WOULD CREATE A NON COMPLIANCE
 WHICH WOULD EXIST FOR SEVERAL MONTHS (TIME FOR DESIGN,
 TIME FOR PLAN REVIEW). APPLICATION STATES THAT
 DEMOLITION IS REQUIRED SO THE ARCHITECT AND ENGIEER CAN
 DRAW TENANT IMPROVEMENT PLANS. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY
 DEMOLITION WOULD BE NECESSARY AS ALL INTERIOR ELEMENTS
 ARE PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED. IF STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY IS
 IN QUESTION, A SELECTIVE DEMO PERMIT WOULD BE
 CONSIDERED. IF A SELECTIVE DEMOLITION PERMIT IS
 REQUESTED, PROVIDE JUSTIFICATION (PHOTOGRAPHS, LETTER,
 ETC.) TO DEMONSTRATE WHY IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR AN
 ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER TO DESIGN THE SPACE WITHOUT THE
 INFORMATION WHICH A SELECTIVE DEMOLITION PERMIT WOULD
 REVEAL.
  
 2. AN ELECTRICAL PERMIT APPLICATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR
 TO ISSUANCE OF INTERIOR DEMOLITION PERMITS, FBC 107.
